Really confused on which wire hooks to the black and which one hooks to the white one of my heart wires has a little slit in it and the other one don’t

You may want to consider adding sound and telling the audience what exactly you’re doing instead of just showing them, just a thought.

How do you keep the wire from twisting right up top when securing the screw nut?

I don't have a third wire nut. Just a green screw. Assuming I screw the copper wire and the grounding wire wrapped around the screw?

Never did like silent instructional videos. With people inquiring about why is white to black connections made, would have been a good time to speak and tell us why.
