It’s all happening everywhere in almost all culture that’s how dances evolve through performances and choreographies. As long as it doesn’t lose its cultural value and moveset then I don’t see the problem in choreographing ethnic style dances.

The intro dance is kawayan represent the straggle of Lawanen and Bantugan. Next is kapa malong malong with a umbrella for girls. Kapag apir and singkil.

I'm sure because you're too busy wanting to ignore the other religions that exists in our country that you're ignorant of such beautiful and unique part of our Filipino identity.
