Step 1: get in a professional orchestra, i think the tour is with Royal Philarmonic.
Saw this last night...wowowow Involuntary tears fell from my eyes. Too beautiful.
Yeah, I don't know why the TP symphonic movement is so emotionally powerful for me. I always have to choke back the tears. My wife and I are going to see the 30th-anniversary symphony in November coming up. Completely looking forward to it!
You could totally tell that a good chunk of the audience weren't active symphony goers.The cheering was understandable but not very good theater etiquette.
+Shruken18 Going to one of these concerts is definitely a different experience. Remember that many, many people who are into these games are also in fine arts themselves, so they do know standard theatre etiquette. What makes this stand out as far as an experience goes is that the cheering seems to be a different kind of etiquette. It's kind of like when you're in a live studio audience and you have cues to clap. Similarly, the cues are when you're presented with a different game location or symphonic movement. Or so that's how I took it, since I was a bit late. Something else, for those looking to see this concert: When I was at a show in Chicago, there were many, many people with their 3DS's. They'd turn down the volume and play the respective games so they could have the symphony going instead of the game soundtrack. Say what you want about it, but I honestly think it's a very interesting, innovative way to experience a symphony and we know that kind of experience is what Nintendo strives for.
I also think it's sometimes annoying, but before starting the concert, the directors take the stage and say that this is not a standard orchestral concert, and that people may and must clap and cheer if they want to, honestly i like this decision, it makes us feel connected, as gamers.
