This was The Stranglers' last gig (ever) in Australia, I was at the second to last show, brilliant as ever, so glad we brought our 18 year old who was quite upset when she heard of Dave's death. He (and the other Stranglers) will live in her memory even as we older fans go to join Dave in the great here after.

I have been supporting them since I was a student. I loved their unchanging charm as their music evolved. Dave's death is unacceptable in shock.

what the f*ck is this? why they did split if both parts of the band are singing the same?? this performance is almost nothing without Greenfield's keyboard playing.

Excellent concert footage Mav, love those close ups on key moments. No doubt this will be their final show on our shores, got to love the keyboard changeover legendary stuff with Greenfield the keyboard wiz. He will be sorely missed as will the band who no doubt will hang up their boots. Special shout out to the original members Jet Black & Hugh Cornwell who were there from the start & to me is still the main man no disrespect to Baz Warne but Hugh's vocals were irreplaceable. RIP David Greenfield & God bless his soul.

I love the Stranglers always have done since l was a kid with Rattus & NMH's. I've followed em forever. I loved Mk 1 with Hugh & l was pleased with the Mk2 when everyone thought they'd perish without Hugh, l thought they were renewed. I've seen em in this line up & they've been great, but tbh, Baz's singing on this! Not been a big fan. I understand why some call them the Karaoke Stranglers. God bless Dave. RIP.
