Thank you for your input. Modern line dancing now extends beyond country dance. Step sheets for dances are available online and dancers learn the specific footwork described in the step sheet. Beyond the step sheet, the dancer can perform in any personal style that they wish. That is the beauty of line dancing - whether country or modern. A person may not connect with one dancer's style versus another, just like a person may not like a particular song on the radio.

Hello, thank you for your message. As I read some of the messages related to this video, I can see the debate about whether we should be dancing to this song in a country style or in a more multicultural way. In my opinion, when you listen carefully to this song, you can detect musicality that goes beyond country. Some dancers may feel sensitive to these rhythms and feel compelled to dance in a different way. Ultimately, I think we should remember that in 2022, we are in a world of "modern line dancing", and as a result of this beautiful line dance evolution, dancers from all walks of life will step in and bring their own uniqueness and past dance experiences to this discipline. I hope maybe you can appreciate the possibility for expansive self-expression. I acknowledge your opinion, and I think it is OK to agree that we will disagree!
