For anybody who is a little cheaper or doesn't have blanket yarn, I used the typical thinner yarn you might find used for hats and scarves. Its a number 4 and I used a 5mm needle like she did. It worked just fine with 38 stitches. I will note, make sure to use good hair ties. The thinner ones or ones that are not 100% circular will not work. If you have questions let me know and I'll be happy to help.

Very nice and quick. How much do you charge for these scrunchies? I’ve been crocheting for many years but don’t really sell my things. I donated about 35 baby blankets when our oldest son was in the war during 2003, 2005 and 2007. Im an educator/Administrator and at the time I was still in the classroom. My colleagues and our para-assistants received them also. Every time I see them, they remind me that they still have the blankets. It’s a good feeling.
