Kentucky's public pension system is a huge debt burden on the state's private sector taxpayers. In 2022 Kentucky taxpayers were robbed on enough earned income equal to $5.82 dollars in contributions to every $1.00 members of public pension plans governed by the KPPA. There is ZERO fairness to the private sector taxpayers. We are getting tired of it. It's not underfunded or underfunding. It's overpromising without prefunding by members.
