Thank you for the in depth description about how to tighten the axle nut! Just what i was looking for.

😂just got an 660r and I’m actually reverting it from twist to thumb throttle and this video helped me much appreciate it not a big fan of twist throttle on the atv at all😭
Yeah I could see that. I think probably had I started mostly on ATVs I might feel the same way, but spend almost all my time on dirt bikes. Glad it helped and thanks for checking it out.

233+ would be fine we're similar those just work well as they can come off easily even if they've been on for a few days. Just make sure paint is clean first

What gauge steel is the actual bedsides on a Dodge truck?
Most of them are 20 gauge. Few exceptions like rocker panels 18 gauge
@MotoXr917 Thanks, getting ready to do some hammer dolly and PDR on a bedside next week...
What tape would you recommend for me to use to put Christmas lights all over my truck? It’s a brand new black denali and don’t wanna ruin the paint
Probably 3M 233+ or 301+ or similar. Basically green or yellow tape
Make sure vehicle is very clean first that way it not dirt between paint and tape
@@MotoXr917 sounds good bro thank you, and what about normal blue painters tape? I’ve seen people use that and some other one called graffer tape or something
Did your lsr axle with with anything else besides spacers?
It only came with the spacers, but depending upon where you order it from they'll set you up with spindles center section etc. ATV Galaxy is what I use they had everything. Lone Star racing also has a ton of stuff directly. I used ATV Galaxy because at that time they had better prices. Not sure about now. Let me know if any other questions

Glad to have you here
If I were to add a 250 amp alternator, would i need an upgraded in line fuse?
That is a super great question. I asked the manufacturer the same thing because I thought to myself what's the point of upgrading the wire when you have a fusible link that is so small/current limiting. They said just get rid of it. No need for fusible link.
Been working great since I installed it. No problems at all. Guess kind of makes sense as well as everything else is fused so the fusible link from the alternator is redundant.
This job looks painful.
Actually not too bad. If ur quad needs it definitely worth it and doable. Thanks for checking it out
the ball joints are tapered, they self center in the spindles, you cant adjust it. The lowers are also fixed to the angle in the arm. again, cant change.
Definitely agree with the statement that the ball joints are tapered and self-centering / that part is not adjustable but caster and camber on my quad with the aftermarket a arms are definitely adjustable.
😎👍 the overhead creeper is a great tool mine has saved my back working on the tall trucks its a must have.
Agreed. Big trucks are great but hard to work on... Thanks for checking it out
What year is the El Camino and how does it attach to that chassis?
Hi Pete, attaches via factory mounts with the exception of the mounts that are over the independent rear suspension and those need to be fabricated. Going to use all the factory style body mounts elsewhere
1978, but G-Body applies to El Camino Monte Carlo Chevelle I think the year ranges that would work for this one or 78 through 87
Very nice, very thorough.
Thank you. I appreciate the feedback

Hello, thank you great information. I use the 3M 233 mostly outdoors taping, hot conditions, keeping underlying paint for headlights. I want to use the best practice to protect paint, I’m afraid especially high-end vehicles. Is there a product to put on the paint underneath the 233 first?Like 3 AM adhesive removal to protect it more. I’m afraid of shading, discoloring specially with the heat. I clean area , I spray water, then tape, spray water again and remove it 45 angle. I wet sand. Trying to reduce the risk of adhesive bonding as much as possible. What else should I do? If something happens, I wanna be able to say I have the best safest procedure and technique. Thank you. I appreciate all your knowledge.
Great question and thanks for checking out the video. Your process sounds pretty good,. One thing I have found that dictates more than anything how well the tape comes off is that it's removed within the time frame the tape is designed which is not very long / a few days. Also be very careful of placing over fresh paint. I have not been in the habit of putting anything underneath the tape to help it be removed any easier and do be a little bit careful with some of the adhesive removers as they can be sort of harsh on paint. Historically if I have additional adhesive that is sticking(tape did not come off evenly) and I want to get it off and I'm not going to be repainting or anything like that then I will use a silicone-based product like wd-40. Seems to be pretty gentle on paint surfaces. However would not want to use that if any additional adhesive products are going to be used or paints etc. I do clean as well before I put the tape down. 233 plus just works really amazing and I've always put it just over the paint. All that said that's my advice based on experience I have no formal training and paint your body work, but thanks again for checking out the video and let me know if any other questions

Sweet setup, gave me some ideas, thanks!
Glad to hear. Thanks for checking it out.
That looks like a OBD2 port, just put the scanner on it go to tps (%) and set it to factory idle witch is usually 20%.😮
Yes totally just like OBD2 port on a vehicle. With the tuner I bought can make all kinds of changes which is really great. Thanks for checking out the video.
FYI I do have a separate video on the tuner showing parameters that can be modified etc
I set my camber to 3 degrees, do you think that is a little excessive for a trail rider (but a fast and agressive rider)? Some of our riding trips is to towns where there is also some on road riding.
Sorry for the late reply. Was on vacation. I think three is on the outer limits of what I would recommend two to three is fine though especially for more aggressive trail riding.
Wouldn't necessarily worry about short lengths on the road. I wouldn't recommend setting it up for that since unlikely to perform well under those circumstances anyways so may as well optimize it for aggressive trail riding. In other words think you're fine. Thanks for checking out the video let me know if anything else comes up.
@MotoXr917 thanks, I ended up making it about 2 degrees with no weight, angle gauge drops to about 1.5 with weight, looks like tires will wear better this way.
TSP is not a company I would recommend. Last year I picked up a new XC 250. I ordered some parts including a TSP head, planning to build a bike over the winter. I then had an opportunity to pick up an xc300, which I did and subsequently sold the 250 still in the crate. I emailed TSP asking if I could exchange the head(still in the unopened box)for one for the 300. No reply. I emailed them again a week later stating I would pay any price difference as well as shipping both ways. Noreply. I emailed them a third time a couple of weeks later. No reply. They simply do not care about customer service.
Thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience. My experience was good, but obviously good for people to hear the other side as well. Thanks for commenting
South Bay Moto Performance is the distributor for TSP in the US, they were above and beyond awesome in regards to customer service. I cannot recommend them enough. Did you try calling? I work in the powersports industry and sometimes when customers email me the emails get kicked into the spam folder and I end up finding them months later which sucks for both the customer and myself. I hate to have a customer feeling like im blowing them off and im sure TSP would feel the same way.
@@Ellwoodsss1 Are you suggesting that the TSP contact email is kicking customer inquiries into a spam folder? That would be very odd as well as bad for business if that were true. I doubt that. No, I did not call them. I have since sold the bike and gave the head away since TSP made no attempts to respond to my inquires. I have provided the exact date and time when the initial inquiry was sent. I don't see any response either here or via email as to what happened and why TSP never responded.
@@booger65man awwww you poor thing, i know that attempting an alternate contact method must have been to challenging for you and of course, they are all just sitting around the table laughing at your emails while they wipe their laughter tears with your money because thats what these businesses are like……. Give me a break dude, you must be a wonderful customer to deal with. I have customers like you, no matter what everything is everyone elses fault and every business is only out to rob you of your money right? Anyway, South Bay Moto and TSP has consistently exceeded my expectations of customer service even once long after i bought my reflash kit, i cannot recommend them enough.
@@Ellwoodsss1 I doubt that someone who responds with that sort of an emotional filled diatribe, operates a business of any significance. Emotionally driven comments from the peanut gallery do not alter the facts as explained above in any way. TSP did not provide lousy customer service, they provided none.
Another plastic gizmo that will fail and cost hundreds of dollars just to buy another one soon. Ktm is getting rich off this. More to go wrong means more will go wrong. Is it really better than a centrifugal valve? Dirt bikes are supposed to be simple. New bikes are barely making it 5 years without major issues. 10,12, $13,000? Where does the madness end?
You definitely have a point. Bikes are pretty expensive at this point. Even 80s are going for $6,000. Thanks for checking out the channel though and appreciate the comment
Very nice video. TSP, TwoStrokePerformance is from Australia and the owner is excellent with 2 strokes and is known around the world. Most people and shops install the base gasket(s) dry.
Thanks for checking out. Yes I definitely go a little overboard sometimes. Use a lot of sealers and thread sealers etc sometimes when not even necessary. Historically I typically do apply them dry as well, 1 reason I didn't on this was because it was 2 gaskets put together. But you're totally right probably still would have been fine without anything. Thanks for checking it out and appreciate the comment!
They have high-performance 3M at Harbor freight.
That's great info. I would not have guessed. I do like harbor freight and go there a couple times a year. Things like zip ties and such are nice there. Thanks for the info and checking the video out.
Every rust repair I ever seen where people didn't use fiberglass filler over the welds always failed after 1-2 years showing rust bubbles. And when using bondo body filler you have to use a sealer or epoxy primer over any bare metal otherwise it will always rust through. I tend to use more bondo fiberglass filler as the base filler and once close to the needed level then prime the surface and add your body filler I then to thin my stuff with fiberglass resin to make it a lot easier to spread and reduce pinholes.
Yes, is a good point. That said I’ve had pretty good luck with the higher end fillers like Evercoat. Some of them like Bondo are a little more porous and can delaminate and take on water a little bit easier. But that said your approach may be very good and appreciate the feedback. Thanks for checking out the video and thanks for commenting.
My track bar has different length bushings spacers. One is wider length and the other one is shorter distance spacer on both ends. Which way is the longer spacer should be facing on both ends? I worked all day today on the truck in 100f heat. Got the Carli shocks and springs in. Torqued and aligned the tre track bar. Just confused about the spacer bushings that go inside the ball joints in which order.
I'll take a look and let you know as soon as I can
Do you have pictures of the spacers you can send. Also I do have video on the rest of the suspension installation if that helps. Let me know. Can text me too. 9205699202.
I don't like how they do not actually hold the radiator like the stock guard. I get nervous that the radiator has so much movement
On some other bikes have used some like works connection that have support behind as well
As far as static goes why not just ground the booth to earth using a copper rod driven into the ground.... Works with my sandblast cabinet electricity is lazy it always seeks the easy path.
Yeah that's a good point. Bet that would work... Thanks for checking it out.
Do you the measurement for stock height. Thx
Should be the same length as the stock one under those circumstances. Let me know if you don't have the original to measure against and I should have some time on Wednesday to take a look and get that exact number to you. Thanks for checking it out.
@@MotoXr917 thxs for your time and help
I got the exact same suspension setup arms and Elka 5. When I turn right the tie rod touches the spring a little. Does yours do that too?
I'll check tomorrow and let you know
@@MotoXr917 OK thank you I appreciate it. It barely touches but I still would want it not to touch at all because when I turn hard left it clears it all good. Only turning hard right it touches
Looking at it now. No contact. It is actually pretty far away. That's said I do have a slightly different pitman arm that has limiters on it to keep from turning to sharply. Not sure, but that could be affecting your set-up. II ordered mine from nice CNC.
Feel free to send me a picture. mxer917@gmail.com.I'll try to help you figure it out.

@MotoXr917 ill look it up tonight thanks. Are you still happy with the change ?
So.e reason I'm not finding the kit anywhere
You should be able to paint correct that just fine next time you tape off as soon as you can remove the tape spray some upol blenz edge blender to melt it down
That's great advice. thank you very much.
@@MotoXr917 you will have to buff the area you applied the edge blender also
Very nice and clean prep work. Also like the color of the base coat you put on. Goes very well together with the carbon look. Do you know the paint color code for that paint. Thanks.
That is an original equipment Dodge color. Code PDR. If you have trouble finding it let me know
I’m like you spent more time on 2 wheels. Do you think this kit would fit a 2012 700 grizzly ??
It may. There is a lot of overlap between throttle bodies on those quads and the only thing that really matters is the connections within the throttle body. If you take a screenshot of my video where I have that cover off looking at those cables attaching maybe take your cover off and see if it looks similar. Maybe worth giving it a try. The kits aren't too expensive. Thanks for checking the video and let me know if any other questions.
Excellent video. I'm going to try this this weekend on my arctic cat.
Thank you for checking it out and leaving a comment. Let me know if questions come up as you're setting your adjustments I'll try to help anyway I could.
Is the twist throttle better than finger?
I'm a motocrosser and mostly ride dirt bikes so I find it more natural. Some people I think do prefer the thumb but for me especially Motocross style ATV riding I like the twist grip.
In other words better or worse, hard to say. Probably is mostly personal preference, but I love the kit. Definitely worth trying if you spend more time on dirt bikes.
is that painters tape?
Thanks for checking out the channel. Yes all of these tapes in this video are different variations of painters tape. My favorite is the green one, but as mentioned it's most expensive. The blue one is quite versatile, less expensive than the green, and available at many stores like Walmart home Depot etc let me know if any other questions, Chris

Could I leave this on the front end of a car for love bug season in the Florida sun and heat for a few weeks?
It works so well is even changes the handle color from orange to silver and the trigger & tips from silver to black !
Yes works pretty great. I use it on all my guns clear, base coat, and priming guns. Was initially a little surprised it worked with the gun with built-in digital gauge, but certainly does. The fancy color changenis a fun trick of video.lol
I understand the why for a explosion proof fan but the installation would not met NEC requirements. Your money might have been better spent by using a forced induction system with directed exhaust. Just a thought.
Hi Steve yeah that's a good thought. Could also work. My only thought with that is that it may be harder to keep the incoming air filtered in a homemade system with forced air intake, but certainly would have been an option... The other downsided to mention is my setup doesn't have the typical downdraft of a official paint booth even though I did Mount my fan low to help with this, professional setup certainly do have their advantages.
Thanks for checking out my channel. Have a great day, Chris
where do you buy the panels!!!???? awesome video!
I got these from LMC truck which is really great option. There are a few others like browns of two rivers, amd, even jegs and summit have some metal depending upon the project. For trucks though LMC is pretty good. Shipping costs will get you a little bit but I did like the quality of the metal quite a bit. Let me know if any other questions and thanks for checking the channel out.
Cool machine, does it recycle the thinners? How many cleans before it needs replacing?
Yes, the solvent is filtered through a screen. After being used for cleaning it goes back into the canister it came from. Sort of variable on how long the solvent will last, but I've had approximately 30 to 50 washes from each 5 gallon canister.
Thanks mate 👍🏻 Cheers From Australia 🇦🇺 🍻
Does a paint booth have to be air tight?
Not necessarily completely airtight, but the path of least resistance needs to be the air filters, not some cracks in the wall were dust and contaminated air can come through. In other words would avoid any gaps large enough to see light through or any significant air flow. If there is could just use some silicone or caulking to seal that up as that could be an entry way for dirt and dust etc. Great question let me know if the answer makes sense. Thanks for checking out my channel.
The cable that works for the twist grip comes right in the kit. Motion pro kit is great. Includes everything that's needed. The cable itself is the same length, but the exposed portion of the cable is a little longer to accommodate the curvature of the twist grip
