Hey John , can you verify it is a 5 plus 1 ?? I bought one and can only seem to load 4 plus 1 . Comes up about half inch too short with a 5th shell.
I had the same issue. The only thing I found out about that was that if you load out fully, you can press on the shells in the magazine and it will pop one up into the receiver. You then can add one more into the magazine. I know that that is not the proper way although it does work and still cycles correctly although initially it takes more energy to pump that first round in.

@@Yobak it does indeed i found it for 130 on psa polishing the rails and the bolt carrier made it very smooth gonna see if an 870 tube extension will fit on it next
Cards won’t work on the side of the action. The forearm slide is too long. I have to use a buttstock elastic sleeve.
I just ordered one Friday and is this compatible with any other shotguns?
Which do you like better pump or semiautomatic?
I like all kind's it's a hard question. For this type of short barreled gun I do think that an auto might mitigate the recoil a lot better.
@Yobak OK. I believe that Ermox and Dickinson are the same company. I have the Dickinson 212T semiautomatic 18.5 inch self defense model, which is very good. I also have the Citadel Warthog semiautomatic shotgun that I put a benelli Nova 3 round extension on, it is now a BAD ASS combat shotgun. Gas operated semiautomatic shotguns will take extensions, but the inertia shotguns will not from what I understand. THANK YOU FOR RESPONDING.
Oh be careful on your choice of shells and loads 3in. #4 Turkey loads are a night mare .
They are tight and my will not cycle 3in shells they are hitting something black in the back end coming out of the feeder tube.
I just got this same one and brand new when you touch the barrel u get the finish all over your hands its just rubbing off lol but owell its a hundred dollar gun. Question is what stock can u use on this gun ive heard mossberg maverick 88 stocks work but havnt tried yet anybody with any info thanks
I did not have a problem with the finish.
if you buy a $100.00 gun and start buying accessories for it. you might as well bought a $200.00 Maverick.
Do a range report. Lets see if it functions well
I did. It shot well. It hit what I was aiming at. It will punish your shoulder. I would recommend light loads for the range that this it's designed for. Those mini rounds might be worth a try.
I wonder if it’s refined or not. Seems some are some aren’t depend on brand. Had a cheap retay Was supposed to be a good brand. The thing jammed and jammed and jammed Same with Dickinson. Emperor a little better. Stevens , works flawlessly
I haven't shot it yet. I have loaded and unloaded it using the pump. It seemed to work very well.

Not yet but now there are a couple videos of guys shooting it with no problems.
How many shells can you fit in yours?, it's advertised as 5+1, mine is 4+1, i can have free floating/ghost shell above the lifter gate, but can not get the 5th shell in the tube. Any suggestions?
I could only get 4+1. They advertised it wrong.
Have you tried shooting it with the shell offer the lifter gate?
@@Yobak haven't taken to the range, but the free floating shell actually racks , no hang ups. Tried multiple times. I filled the shotgun all the way, 4 in tube, 1 free float and chamber, all load good. The pump action takes extra strength to rack, even after clean, oiled. Theirs a pistol gripwith sling attachment variant of this shotgun on classic firearms website for the same price. Definitely ordering that one soon.
@@Yobak check to see if there is a long follower and change it out for a shorter follower, than it could possibly be a 5+1
@@Timcanniff311Thanks for some actual useful advise. everybody says 4 not 5. And then never say was it 3inch or 2 3/4 inch shells. DETAILS matter.
