My friend fell in love with the cover of the first album Boy. I loved the sound of the Edge.A few months later we walked by coincidence in the neighbourhood of ' het Paard van Troje' a venue in the Hague. We saw that U2 was playing. We got a ticket for half the price and saw maybe the last 25 minutes. Bono climbed in the PA and in combination with the thrilling sound of the Edge. There were maybe 150-200 visitors!! I'll never forget it. If you visit the Hague, het Paard van Troje still exist and is worth wile to pay a visit....different times, different prices..

I love this period of time. The amount of mistakes they make and need to talk to each other. Shows they are try life act and can adjust in the last second. 87 to 93 was the golden time for them.

I was there for both nights two in a row shows. First night on stage left lower arena near the stage close and the second night in the pit circle,! My tickets won me a dca guest in the middle fan pit 300 or so only allowed in. Great two night's instant winner 😁🏆

Thanks to whom ever shared this recording. I was there. Crazy energy there that night. Vivid memory of when the house lights went out right before U2 took the stage. Playing on the house speakers was the Beatles, I saw Her Standing There. Everyone in our section was singing word for word in unison. U2 was the biggest the band in the world, at least for this night.

Was listening to U2 randomly on Spotify. Then searched for that concert in Bercy. I was there with friends. I clearly remember the atmosphere on Elevation. All the arena lights were still on while they started to play. We thought the technicians forgot about them. Then right after "I'm a creep", the arena lights went out on "...a mole". Massive scream of the audience. And that version of "Stay". 23 years later, still gives me the chills.
