Why you slam your tools around. Bless less aggressive
SO, i appreciate the time and work to do a video, but, you need to get a mic. Lavalier is what they are called. The lack of audio made this un watchable.
S.O.S. I cut off the center panel but there are metal corners I don't know how to cut off. How do I take of the medal corners?
Can you do it with MDF?
I have a client wanting the same done to her kitchen cabinets. What do you charge per door with that same glass ?
$160
I saw I comment that said the door frame will fall apart if you cut the doors, I have 3 doors to do but I'm not sure if they will fall apart at this point
Everyone will find something for themselves on the woodglut website.
Does anyone know where I can take my cabinet to get it cut for me?
I've heard good feedback about the Stodoys plans.
I have done very similar with Woodglut designs.
I think the router is the better way to go. Looks good. thanks
Do they have shops that will do this type of work.
If you're hesitant about replacing your cabinet doors on your own, try consult a local kitchen cabinet contractor in your area to avoid damage to your cabinet door (which can occur if you don’t know what you are doing) and that will ensure proper installation of glass.
1:34 - Aaaaah, I changed my mind......um, maybe not!
I took two of my doors to a cabinet maker to have the panels removed. He said it can't be done with mine because the chances are too likely the frames will fall apart? I'm confused!? Why is it easy with some panels and damaging for others?
Pamela can you email me a closeup photo of the back and the front of your cabinet door for me to view. They will help me answer your question. Email them to woelky4@verizon.net
I know that woodprix has the best woodworking plans ever.
so i made it too :D just by using woodprix plans:)
Would you be able to do it with a router using the same jig to remove the center panel.
plans from woodprix are awesome!
Mine works too. I used woodprix plans and build it without any problems.
ourselThis time I will use woodprix instructions to make it.
Thank you for your help with making my cabinets a success. Best how to on UA-cam and I have watched them all.
I know you have solution for that on woodprix website. just google 'woodprix' :)))
I know you have solution for that on WoodPriX website. just google 'WoodPriX' :)))
I must say that “pepe amazing plan” (Google it) is a great wood working book. It gives a lot of general information that will help any beginner and even some experienced carpenter. Astonishingly, this book has been my partner when I want to look up woods at areas along with other topics like restoring and salvaging spots.
don't silicon the inside. just place the glass in door then silicone the outside
I made it myself. Just go to Woodprix webpage if you'd like do the same
what is holding the glass on the back side ? is the silicone only enough?
you can add some nails in order on the whole perimeter and then cover it with silicone...
your video is awesome.... I am wanting to do this....do you have a video on your fence that you place your door on
do it yourself , go to WoodPrix page and learn how .
Thank you for taking the time to show how to cut the door to add glass insert. You made it looks easy.
