i did fallows leonas workshop amazon too. pin vice came with a drill but but man, it could not cut. then i harvested a old dermal from my dad. made a hole in seconds but my room was filled with dust where my non ventilator self was worried... i had gotten tamiya basic (i assume the same as tamiya white) and it sucked.. using a craft knife to cut off the extra just took of 90% of the putty.... but the head seam line sanded okay... this is prob the best video for learning grage kits. the X others that youtube promote for making a garage kit dont even come close

This video finally got me to order white milliput, and I'm glad I did. 😊 However, whenever I use the sculpting tool, the putty kinda crumbles and doesn't smooth properly unless I put vaseline on the tool. Is this normal?

It’s so important to remember, that regardless of what other cosplayers do online…cosplay is a hobby, it is what YOU make of it. There is nothing wrong with what materials or equipment you use, it’s about your own personal creativity, and in the end it’s about having fun. It’s ok to make something for yourself, there’s no pressure to feel like you have to let the world know what your up to all the time, even if your project stays between you and one other person…you should be proud of it. Having a big numbers of followers is a great feeling, but don’t let it take over your work, we all know that spending hours on a costume for a deadline is enough stress as it is 😂 I love cosplay for the personal interactions, to make some go “Oh hey it’s that character!”, to be able to talk to people backstage and share crafting ideas, to gush over work with judges as you suddenly come to the realisation of how much work you actually did, but above all, I love that cosplay is a way to make great memories. I hope to be able to continue meeting new people at cons and to have fun times enjoying what we all love so much ❤

I loved this video! But just one thing, try to not shade/highlight with black/white, it really desaturates the original colours

What a wonderfully made video! I'm currently working on a e2046 kit and it was nice to see another beginner go at it! Leona's Workshop got me started last year and I've only just begun my first kit last week. (11 months of gathering supplies and material 😅) keep up the great work, the figures turned out great and video editing/camera work even better!!

I was recommended this video by the algorithm because I watched Leona's Workshop videos. There aren't a lot of channels that do the same things she does. You have similar presentation so I think that's why I was recommended your channel even though you only have one garage kit video. It could be a useful niche if you're looking to grow your channel.

Really enjoyable and interesting to hear your thoughts on the situation :) A issue I've had with the transition into using social media for cosplay is the 'haters' interacting. Nasty comments or just rude mentions from anonymous or burner accounts has caused me to be on my guard alot of the time when dealing with comments and this has led to me being more distant when interacting with people. This doesn't help when trying to make friends and I completely understand why big influencers keep to themselves sometimes. Maybe we should all move back to Deviantart hahahaa

I love this costume so much! I ordered the same 1/3 Delusion costume but from Dokidoki instead of directly from them. The quality is so beautiful, I love the shimmery fabrics and embroidery and the metal accessories! I'm sewing my own ponytail attachment using human hair because I can't stand how thick and heavy heavy those ponytail clips are and I can't be bothered to deal with long tangly synthetic hair lol You look so gorgeous and elegant as Ayaka! I'm really interested to see the updates you make to the costume, maybe I'll try and make some updates to my own costume lol. Thanks for the really detailed review!

Looks awesome! Love the eyes and glossy detail. Just a heads up for the next kit, it may help to use cotton gloves when using pastels because the oil from your fingertips has a habit of messing with pastels. Overall, great job on the kit!💕
