You don't place (flyable aircraft) as such. You place their waypoint. See from 3:11 and specifically from 3:30. Good luck and enjoy...

roteroktober420 If you haven’t figured it out yet. You hold the ctrl button then click. This works for any object including planes.

That was quite an omission actually! It will determine whether you're capturable after bailing out. If I recall, there's a 50% chance of being captured if you bail out over enemy lines. I hope that helps. :-)

I last flew IL2 '46 back in 2011, a custom co-op campaign in the Ju-87 G-3, flying with a buddy in Poland and his brother in London. Great memories; finally back flying regularly again just of late. :-)

I was trying to use a B 29

That's a mod aircraft. I don't know how it's setup now but unless you're running a modded FMB which includes that specific plane and it's flyable, it makes sense that it won't be selectable. Try a standard aircraft like a Bf-109, P-51D or Spitfire and with a bit of luck you'll be right.

All it set's is a blue or red way point, then everyone I put is "checkpoint 0"

It's actually been several years (funny how time flies) since I've flown IL2 '46 but one possibility is that you don't have a waypoint selected before control-clicking. I don't have the game installed so can't test that out. BTW Have you heard of the IL2 Battle of Stalingrad/Mosow/Kuban etc series? There are some very very good things happening with that. Anyway, could you let me know if that works?

Well, a bit late but (non-static) objects need a second waypoint so they know which direction to head.

MrProfilen Now that I have overcome the camera, why the hell do my planes suicide into planes? I've tried many different waypoint options(for Gattack), but it doesn't work...?
