I remember discovering RoR back in 2010. I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread. I, admittedly, play BeamnNG far more these days but still take some time to give RoR some love, as well. Too bad the RoR forums turned out to be an absolutely toxic environment. Lot of egotistical moderators, gatekeepers and flamewars killed the community in the end.

i remember trying to play this game back in early 2010s on my old (even back then it was outdated) laptop. i managed to install it but gameplay wise I couldn't find it enjoyable, I wouldn't think about it that way now though

Back in 2007 or 2008 I had played this game, the low poly models as you have come across is probably for lower hardware spec pcs at that time, I had a Pentium dual core with no graphics card in the pc, when I used to spawn the vehicles in this game, It Never spawn or even if it spawned the softbody feature didn't worked atall due to my hardware, so I just used to play with lowpoly model, that Lowpoly BUS model 15:11 brings back all my memories, thank you making this video

RoR was better in terms of vehicle variety. It has many trucks and heavy machinery like cranes, excavators, tow trucks. BeamNG is mainly focused on cars, driving, racing, and crashing. Unfortunately.
