Leaning towards the gv80 Hopefully soon I shall own one

Jay, I’m looking at this color long distance, so not in person, can you give me some feedback on the interior color? The exterior color is Cardiff green, I am concerned it might be too much green!

Yes this is the ash grey/glacier white interior.

The Prestige has nappa leather with suede while the Sport Plus has the quilted nappa leather. The GV70 has 4 different seat styles depending on the trim you choose so hopefully you will love one of the other options!

I haven't seen Alta white, as that is a colour only offered in the US and we are a Canadian dealer. So I haven't seen it in person, but from what I read the Alta might be more of flat paint.

Alta is a non-metallic solid white, the only free color choice. Uyuni is a pearlescent white, $550 American when I got my 2022 GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige.

Hi, I have not had the chance yet to drive my GV60 in any real snow, it has been pretty mild here in Ontario so far. I will be putting snow tires on my vehicle and likely wouldn't use sport mode in the snow, but eco or comfort should both work well. From my research the extra weight of EVs do help them handle well in snow. So far I haven't seen any issues with the heated seat button.

@@genesiskitchenerwaterloo Hello oh thank you so much for getting back to me nice to chat with someone else that has a GV 60 I have not seen another one on the road yet . I did drive mine to Penticton BC temps were as low as -8c it did cut the range by about 25% also the charging time really slowed down but it was not a problem, some of the roads were packed snow I need up driving in the Eco mode because there is a slight delay when you step on the power so that I thoughts helped to stop any type os wheel spin as far as regen I put it into Auto it seemed to have worked very well I was very impressed with the car going down hill . If you have any tips of info pls pass on , I find at the moment it very hard to find much out even from Genesis I guess the car is too new. Thanks again .

@@genesiskitchenerwaterloo Hello again I have another question for you sorry :) it is hard to get much info on this car at the moment . When I bought I was under the impression the car had snow mode like the EV6 and the Ioniq 5 Eric from Genesis Victoria a very nice man indeed said it did not think the car in Canada came with snow mode which I thought was odd. I have spoken with people in the US also been on the Genesis chats and they all say they have it just hold the mode button down , that does not work on my car. I have since seen Canadian UA-cam Genesis car with the snow mode. I contacted Genesis Canada they yes I have it , again we went through all the modes but no snow mode . After that they went outside and checked 2 or 3 other GV 60 Advance and Performance and none of the one they check could they get snow mode , there answer was there must be an update coming they will get back to me next week . Would it be possible for you to check yours see if you can engage snow mode I would love to know. Thank you so much. Shaun.

Hi, so I did some looking and I can turn snow mode on in my GV60 by holding down the drive mode button. You can set this button to do two things, either snow mode or MY mode - this is set in under settings - vehicle - drive mode- custom and then you can choose snow mode or MY mode. Hope that helps. I will post a video this week showing how to change this in the settings.

@@genesiskitchenerwaterloo Oh yes that was brilliant I did hear back yesterday from Genesis Canada and they to tell me first you do have to get into the settings and set it up. You the only other person that has said that to me it looks like the dealership ships need to be onboard with this hahaha easy when you know how . Many thanks to you for replying. Yes that is the situation currently, production of other trims is continuing with a 6-8 month wait time here in Canada.

In Canada new factory orders for a G70 will take around 3-4 months to arrive.
