Hey everyone! I got a GoPro recently, and thought I'd use it to make a short street photography video of my photo walk today in my local area - Box Hill in Melbourne with my Fujifilm XT-3. The video's format is from my point of view edited images. Hope you will find it useful. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments. :) You can also find me here: Website: www.janezhangphotography.com I...
Are we going to get more videos?😊
📷😊👍
I love it when people approach and participate in the experience. Must be nice!
Hi. I followed your insta since last year.. I just found your youtube today
nice video. btw i'm also using fuji xt3 and 35 f1.4 can i ask you what application did u use for editing photos? thank u jane. keep up that good work.
Hey! Should I consider buying the XT3 now in 2021? I know its an older model but, but what do you think? XT30, X-S10, XT3 are within my budget. thanks! you shoot great pictures😊
I think the answer to your question depends upon what you want to do with the camera. If you're interested in stills only, then the X-T3 is absolutely a great camera. I bought mine last year and love it. If you're going to shoot video, it's still a great camera, but there are some things you'll need to work out. First, you'll need to get a lens that will work with the camera best for good AF behavior. Secondly, you'll need to consider that the X-T3 doesn't have IBIS, so you'll need to get a lens with OIS or possibly even a gimbal for good stabilization. But, that all depends upon how stable you personally need.
@@charliejg Couldn't he explained better than this. Thanks! BTW, I chose the XT3, and baught it nine months ago.. and I completely agree with your answer.
i like your channel! im in Melbourne too.. need to learn more from you
Great video and photos Jane! If you feel like shooting with another fuji user, I'm in Forest Hill and we can go together. It's safer :)
Thank you Warren! You can find me on Instagram at @janezhangphotography and we can connect and organise something. :)
very nice video!!
Thank you very much!
Nice video ! i love this lens... i use it in every situation !
Thank you Nelson! It is a great versatile lens indeed :)
You jump so much while walking, you swing. it was a bad shot Jane..
setting for xt3 please?
I usually shoot on Aperture priority for street photography. :)
You like the xt3 better than the xpro 2 or 3?
Hi Allen, I haven't used the Xpro series so I can't give you a definitive response. I do prefer the ergonomics of the XT series but I am open to the Xpro series as well. :)
@@janezhang4723 I think I'm going to get an xt3. I like the xpro3 except I don't like the LCD screen. I wish they would have provided a screen as on the x100v and also kept the d pad. I think the xt3 comes closest to what I'm looking for. Thanks for the excellent video.
Lovely images Jane! Great use of colour and light. And glorious doggo at the end ❤️
Thank you Jay! Really appreciate it :)
Loved seeing the final images after you approached the shot. Love this Jane.

Nice Street Photography!
Thanks alot! 😊
Beautiful images. Which film simulation you used?
Thank you Teddy! I shoot in RAW and edit in Lightroom :)
Great vedio I like it .. and that fuji xt3 with 35mm 1.4 it is perfect. Do u have 32mm Zeiss for fuji to compare iam thinking 🤔 to buy that lenes but not sure how good is it
Thanks for the support Zeki! I haven't used the 32mm Zeiss before, but the 35mm F1.4 is a stellar lens!
How did you set your metering for thr pic at 0:40
Hi Marky, I used multi metering with EVF :)
Great video. I'm really glad i have discovered your channel (and also your instagram page) :) Thank you for sharing your approach to street photography.
Thank you so much for your support! 😊❤
I love how spontaneous it is - never know when you get to capture a great moment. Always a fan! <3

Excelent works keep doing it 🙏🏻👍🏼🙂
Thank you so much for watching and for your support! ☺
Great Jane 👏👏👏
Thank you so much Emerson!☺
Jane.. as soon I discovered that you made street video I got them. Simplicity and thinked photography is what I enjoy more. The calm way you walk around capturing simple moments is the way I approach street photography. Now I know that Melbourne is nice because you make it like that. Last thing: seems that women doing street photography are “seen better” from strangers. What do you think about that? 👏🏻❤️
Thank you very much Fabrizio! It is very fun just walking the streets and capturing everyday life 😊 I think as long as we are friendly, honest and have a smile, it will help how others perceive us regardless of how we may look. 😊
Keep posting jane. Nicely done.
Thanks for the kind support Piyush! 🙃
Another great video, I love the POV style. What kind of filming setup are you using?
Thanks heaps! I am currently using GoPro to film the POV segments :)
@@janezhang4723 Thanks Jane, it's a nice complement to your photos. Do you clip the Go Pro to your clothes?
