Yes that’s absolutely correct. Now to your question , the figures I gave in relation to how to set the levels are basic GUIDES to ensure proper gain staging. I always recommend one to train their ears to set levels than visualize it on the volume meter.

Yes I send the drums to a bus track. But I use the Reverb as a send returns effect (therefore 100% wet) not a direct insert on the bus track. And I insert EQ with a high pass to filter all the low end of the dry direct signal so that the reverb affects only the mids and high ends.

Dont be centered on one daw learn other daws too countable ones that will shape u up as a producer and help u choose a best daw to you

@@zurioffisho I've chosen the best daw for me and that's Ableton Live. Why use multiple Daws when I can instead put more effort in mastering the daw that suits my workflow? All top daws basically do the same thing if you're skilled enough in using them, I'll rather put more effort in further understanding all the deep secrets of Ableton than waste time learning more and be average in all of them.

what if an artist sent u a project that was worked in fl studio will u dump him because u cant do stems in ableton bro what am sAying is dont centre ur self in one daw brother thats all you will need something that happens in fl studio or logic for example fl studio isnt good with analog gear ableton will help so if u want to be a killer producer mixing and mastering engineer dont always use one daw explore those other daws too u get it yap brother hope this helps.
