Maplestory Dual Blade Job Balancing Comparison (Winter 2024)
Just some rough comparison for pre-patch (1st clip) and post patch (2nd clip). Side-by-side BA at the end.
Wearing 4s CD hat and ROR4.
Forgot to turn off Janus like an idiot. After subtracting Janus damage, works out to ~18.5% gain for 30s BA with origin. DB finally getting the buffs we deserve!!

70m CP and aided by night troupe buffs. Run was a little scuffed as I wanted to rush this before event ended. Hence, please pardon the moments of brain lag. Though based on clear time, I'm pretty sure I can do a comfy Hilla mission next.

70m CP. A little rusty with NL but still a very comfortable run cos I over-geared. This burst heavy class really sucks in bosses with so many phases tho.

Summary of run: - 54k stats unbuffed - Liberated - Identisk event buffs - 1460 arcane DB's kit is just AMAZING in BM - with Lifesteal (very pog), Dark Sight, 2 I-frames and not to forget the trusty dummy abuse in P1 & P3. Would have cleared with many more lives remaining if my weak hands and pepega mind didn't start to lose focus towards the end of P3...need to be better! Things to improve: - g...

17.2k mobs. A little more sweaty than Summer 5. Could be more brain dead if you give up looting that top platform but we all gotta get them fragments. -4cd hat in this vid, no cd will have to rely on will/seren skill to loot effectively.

~16.7k/h in drop gear and 2shot fountain (~18k if in damage gear). -4s CD hat in this vid but absolutely not necessary as you can rotate FMAs without a CD hat. Saw this rotation from KMS and decided to try it out. This is just so mindless & comfortable as you don't have to worry about your positioning - just double jumps & down jumps without any left/right arrow keys).

Darksight and mirrored target OP. I don't think I can do such a long run on any of my other characters... Just wanted to record this before Newage patch hits and before I liberate this char in a few days. I've officially achieved my goal of solo-ing all bosses before BM, time to go further once the patch hits! :)

I was actually trying to time it such that she doesn't teleport while I'm in Asura, but this should only be for burst during WJR4. Was my misplay if I did it during ROR3.
