Hallo Klaus, ich werde wieder anfangen. Ich habe eine gebrauchte grosse Pelletpresse gekauft und renoviert. Werde ich bald in Betrieb nehmen und natürlich ein Video davon machen. Wenn du eine Presse kaufst, nimm eine, die ein einfaches Getriebe hat. Die aus dem Video hat viele Zahnräder und wenn da was kaputt geht, kannst fast nicht reparieren. Meine grosse hat zwei Zahnräder: eins am Motor und ein grosses an der Achse. Rentabel ist es schon, die Preise für Pellets sind hoch.

Presst du ohne Maisstärke? Usw 😅 Und nebenbei:ich find es klasse und kreativ wie du die Anlage aufgebaut hast,

Stefan Köhle are you using a generator to power this plant? Do you have whatsapp?

Thank you. The wood drys outside for some years but I plan to build a shed and paint it black, to dry it faster. Unfortunately the pellet press is broken now (Made in China) but I will buy one made in Germany soon.

Thank you for your reply....I am from New Zealand and i am looking into building a small pellet plant of about the size that yours appears to be....and if its ok, i have some questions How many Kw of electrical supply does your pellet plant require? How many Kg per hour is your plant capable of? Are you making pellets commercially or just for yourself? Thank you for any information

The shredder has 20 kW, the press had 15 kW, the hammermill has 11 kW. The output was 70-100 kg/h. I sell the pellets, but it is a hobby for the weekend. The new (used) press will have 30 kW and do 200 kg/h. Don't buy a pellet press from china, they are meant to make food pellets.

Thank you that information. I know about the Chinese pellet presses not being strong enough...what part of your press failed? How well did the die and rollers wear?....i know the dies and rollers from some chinese manufacturers wear out after only a few hours.....and some from other manufacturers last far longer that they are meant to. Your new pellet press sounds like it is a similar size to what i am aiming for...i am intending to make my own press as i am an engineering welder/machinist by trade.

Some of the ball bearings failed. The last one destroyed the housing of the gearbox. The die and the rollers were hardened and had no wear at all.
