Just a bit confused about the bottom edge of the cuff that seems left unfunished in yours. My faux fur fabric freys and loses fur off the cut edge if not finished of si could i first hem that edge.... Don't know if im making sense here... 😑☺️

The quality of napkin makes a big difference. I just did this with a napkin and when I went to lightly smooth it out with my finger it tore. Just a helpful hint for those starting out.

FYI for anyone interested, I was looking for a paint that would give the inside of the oyster shell a sheen but wouldn't cover the dark spot. Discovered Liquitex makes a transparent white paint (I'm assuming this is what SimpleNatureDecor used). Purchased it today....fingers crossed. UPDATE: Applied the Liquitex transparent white. I thought I would get a glossy finish but the finish is matte. The shell looks satiny but not glossy. It is transparent though. I will have to purchase a clear gloss now. Just wanted to save time and money for anyone who's attempting this.

What does the Liquitex do? Is it necessary?
