Great vid. "What keeps me passionate about the Amiga?" For me it would probably it's openess. It's kinda like how I feel about Linux these days. The Amiga gave users the freedom to tap into its capabilities and exploit the heck out of it to realise your creative ambitions without too many limitations. As a late teenage/20 something kid living under the rule of your parents, having access that kind of power and freedom was a really liberating feeling and experience. Lightning in a bottle baby.

I just got one also, and its one of my god machines. I paid through the nose for it, but nothing is broken and it even comes with the bag, you can put the keyboard and power cable in. For those in OZ, we used to make our Mum, take us to Myer Melbourne, when we were 13-14 year old, just so we could see this great machine. I can't believe i finally have one!

Most of these games aren't good, backward compatible, and owning them when you aren't gonna play them. Don't add any value to your life. So cool, your lady bout a bunch of garbage that'll sit on your shelf as you complain that the PS5 has no games. This was a not a good haul, all these games are trash.

I upgraded from a 500 to a 2000HD. Figuring out how to do hard drive installs of Amiga games that weren't meant to run off an HD got me to learn the nuts and bolts of Amigas, which resulted in a 35 year career in telecommunications. I still love Amigas and have all the original ones I have owned EXCEPT for the 2000 :(

i had this device (at least it was similar) with 20 mb hdd. and i manually istalled 2 mb memory on it!

I got both Easy Pro and Eyecon and they are different. The difference at first glance is in the timer range and method of scratch removal. Using Eyecon with Easy Pro pads are pointless - the results are not comparable to the right machine. After a year of using - a prefer to use Easy Pro with different polishing compounds than original one and different pads. The results - are better than much expensive machines.
