Although some watch pedants would definitely go for automatic or winding watches only, I do not think that the mechanism is all to a beautiful watch (nonetheless still pivotal). The design, history and stories of the watch plays a huge role as well and so, I do not have a strict preference for either! It really depends on what comes by and how much I love it 😌
