Daniel Anić - Ateş Çemberi | Ring of Fire
Ateş Çemberi or Ring of Fire is my own song, played with Bağlama / Saz. It's a song of fire, and it can be played indefinitely, in a circle.
If I would have to give the song a meaning, it's about transformation and growth. An inner process we must live through.
This is by far my most elaborate video. Not often am I completely satisfied with my work, but this video... I'm proud of it and happy to share it with you.
I hope you like it as much as I do.

I play the song Al Yazmalım. I like this song a lot, it's beautiful and melancholic. Rhythmically it's also interesting and sometimes difficult to count, because of the long rests. Al Yazmalım is film music. The song is played in the turkish movie "Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalım" - "The Girl with the Red Scarf". It's composed by Cahit Berkay. Instagram daniel_anic

A freestyle session with my Saz ended in an energetic recording. Fire is the element which draws me the most nowadays, it's what I felt, it's what I called it. Dostum is a poem / deyiş by Pir Sultan Abdal, a central spiritual figure in the Alevi faith, a symbol of freedom and the fight against oppression. Even the old music instrument can touch our souls with the ways that we never imagined. Hey Daniel, nice performance anf wonderful melody. I just found your channel because of Julia live in utube, I am from Greece and Baglama is one of the most beautiful traditional instrument in my country. Turkey and Greece we have a lot of common music sense because of our old history. You are so nice in this. Thank you so much!
Alexis, thank you a lot! I have never been to Greece sadly, only to Turkey. But I know that the Baglama is quite popular in Greece. I think in Greece they use a different (Open) tuning. I love the style. Have you watched the movie from Petra Nachtmanova about the saz? (Saz - Key of Trust). She also visits Greece :) Oh it's so beautiful. The influence of Greek culture is still strong in Anatolio, even in the traditional turkish songs (Türküs). It's what I read and also my music teachers told me :)

Ich bin eben aus einem Traum aufgewacht und lese den Kommentar. 🙂 Die Übersetzung, die ich habe, ist von einem Freund, er hats für mich übersetzt. Ich finde sie ähneln sich an manchen stellen, auch im Gegensatz zu den vielen die man noch im Internet findet.
