Melangata Station 3 Day Weekend
Переглядів 5997 місяців тому
Join the ride as Chris and I travel from Joondalup to Mount Magnet, Cue, Big Bell, Walga Rock, Melangata Station and return. We take the BMW GSA1200 and GSA1250 ~ excellent choice of bike for this road and (good) off road trip. It was a great 3 day motorcycle trip.
Dropping the GSA for the first time. Collie Weekend on the BMW R1250 GSA

A great weekend away with mates. Some twisty and some off road activity on the big bike. Luke drops the adventure bike for the first time which is what happens when you ride the wrong tyres and also have no off road skills...
Avon Valley Solo Motocamping
Переглядів 102Рік тому
A quick run up to Toodjay Western Australia with some mates, and then I peeled off to go camping in the Avon Valley. The campsite is called Bald Hill. A nice night out in the open and then home again. Motocamping is very refreshing!

    Nice one! You have 1 Ezcan's to control all the lights? Has there been any issues with the 20% brightness with other road users?

      @lukeyeoman 2 місяці тому

      Yep, one ezycan does the job. You will have one spare channel and I used that for my Denali brake light. I also have the sound bomb horn and wired that direct to battery as I ran out of channels. Functionality is the same….I ended up reducing back to 10% brightness during the day. It’s plenty and 20% is a bit much.

    Is Denali D7 pro the same as clear water Dixi?!!

    • @luckylukesbikebits
      @luckylukesbikebits 4 місяці тому

      Hi, I'm not really up with the clear waters, but my understanding is that they are two independent light sets.

    Hi any idea whether i can use same wiring harness for D7 and D7 pro , since we have three light options in D7 pro, i wanted to know the harness details.

    • @luckylukesbikebits
      @luckylukesbikebits 5 місяців тому

      Hi, I’m no expert on the harnesses, but the D7 has two leads going to each pod to control it. I’m guessing the D7 has one lead per pod. In this case my guess is that you could use the same harnesses and a splitter at the light pod end, but then you couldn’t control the different sections in the D7 pro. So ideally you need two leads to each light from the hex. Steve at A Bike Thing has some good explanation videos on the topic. Sorry, hope that helped a little.

    Yeah you are going to love that combo. I got the same except no emblems. I’m running the b6 as a stop light only to start with. Super bright.

    Why do you have the ammo guard on but you still have the OEM protection on top of it..the purpose of the ammo guard is to protect🤷🏿‍♂️

    Great Stands, But the price!!! To get a set to Canada $665 US and $85 US shipping which equals $1026 Canadian and then probably duty on top of that. Sure do like how they work though.

    Hey, was just wondering do these stands have some sort of wheel stop to stop the bike moving or rolling on its own?

    • @luckylukesbikebits
      @luckylukesbikebits Рік тому

      Hi, no they don’t have any sort of stop. On a flat surface, the bike won’t move, but if you have a slope, it certainly would. I think it would be pretty easy to add a stopper/wedge of your own to counter this. Hope that helps. 👍
