When I first heard The New Standard CD when it came out I was blown away. The CD jewel case was a light amber color which set it apart from the 1000s of CDs in the stores. That was an intelligent marketing decision whomever was responsible for that. The album is pure gold. I attended the Tribute To Miles concert in the SF Bay Area and knew they were going to release recordings from that night. The music was of the highest level.
