I'd like to know what fool chose this video sequence. The song is about Cloud losing Aerith and the emptiness, or hollowness that he has since losing her. It is in no way about Jesse, or others they showed in those scenes except for Aerith and Cloud only. All the FF and non-FF games alike with all those Cloud x Aerith easter eggs - Cloud looking for the Promised land to be with Aerith, Aerith calling Cloud her LOVER, and Cloud calling Aerith his Beloved. It's in the OG, the novels, ultimania books, the ads, the promotions, and other SE media have made it undeniably clear. So don't know how in the hell that that particular video got put up there on that screen with this song, especially when Nomura and Nojima both confirmed it to be about Cloud's love for Aerith and the suffering he's enduring from losing her. Not that anyone who knows the history of this game needed them to confirm anything, because it's common sense. You'd have to have an IQ of 0.01 to think it's about any thing or anyone other than Aerith. Even in the most recent Jump interview, the Devs make it very clear, no, ifs, ands, or buts - that Cloud loves Aerith.

Aw man, I'm disappointed by this. I actually kept asking myself if this was a fan performance. His vocals are really off. Like he has a throat ache. It doesn't sound in synch. It seems like a lot of people share my opinion. Rock/pop can work with orchestra. The orchestra concert for Persona is very good.
