Sticking with my faithful 1979 Fender Jazz until I pass from this world I guess! Yours certainly sounds brilliant, McCartney still using one so no further accolade is possible...

Masterpiece

Fugazi is the reason i got into playing music. I saw them live in DC in a field of 10,000+ kids (in 91-92' for FREE). That was my first live music show, i was 15. I was immediately enthralled and Joe Lally's bass playing made me want to play the bass. A week later i bought a bass guitar and an amp.

Even though all of the Germs songs have relatively simple basslines I still really enjoy them. The guitar takes a step back on G.I. that really allows them to shine through, and I can really appreciate the fact that Lorna Doom only picked up the bass when the Germs formed in 1976. Something about that is really inspiring to me, and I would probably not play the bass today without her. RIP Lorna Doom.
