    I want to do solidification and also on top air should be there, so to capture the shrinkage. ( I mean need to couple solidification solver with interFoam or reated thing). Can you tell me how can it be done??????? Any help regarding is greatly appreciated. :)

    Can the cost be incentivized for SAARC countries? I am from Nepal, and this course seems very interesting to me. I'm currently doing my Ph.D. in the US, and because of the living cost here and since the stipend provided here is so-so, every dollar counts. I've gone through almost all of your videos, and honestly, this 10-week course would be a gem to me. Also, will the recordings be provided?     Hello, Dr. Kumar, Great resources you have here. I have been trying to learn OpenFOAM from scratch for the past six months, for my Ph.D, and I would say the journey has been rather difficult. There are resources available on the internet for basic case setup and running simple simulations. However, I have come to realize that there is not much proper guidance to learn in order to progress from beginner to intermediate and then advanced. If you could address this in a video, perhaps illuminating the path as well as the resources to take, it would be very helpful. Additionally, are there any training programs that you are affiliated with or that you would recommend? Thank you!

    Hello,i am unable to find the applications folder and thus the solvers folder, i tried searching for it using the iname command and it gave me 3 solvers folders none of them are the same as u opened can you help me with this

      There can be syntax errors in your command line or you may forget to create OF env as in my case I have typed of6 first. Also, you can directly go to the OF folder and do it manually.

      @@advancecfdwithpratyush7162 sorry but wdym by OF env because for me im using msys64 terminal to use openfoam therefore for example if i want to open the tutorials file i use the path home/openfoam/openfoam v2206/, then ls and it gives me the different present folders in which i dont find the applications folder. Also when i tap echo $FOAM-SOLVERs it gives me the same path that arrives to the applications folder however when i copy it it doesn't find it.Would really appreciate a response even if you don't exactly understand my problem.

    This software is one of the worst softwares I've ever seen, even for a free and open-source software. The fact that I have to create a CAD model in a fucking text editor saysa lot about the quality of this extremely terrible software. Is there even a different soution to do this?

      OpenFOAM is used in Formula 1 so I don´t think it´s terrible, u just have to learn a lot and can create CAD or meshes in other softwares and import them

    Sir, Thankyou for the lectures. It has been immensely helpful for me as a beginner in OpenFoam. After making the changes as mentioned by you in this video. When I ran the simulation using icoFoam solver, it gave the solution. It even gave the Temperature plot. Why did this happen? If I run with myIcoFoam also I get the same result. Now when I run the cavity tutorial alone after copying it from tutorials folder, I am getting this error. --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: cannot find file "/home/akshay/OpenFOAM/akshay-10/run/cavity/system/myProperties" I am new to OpenFOAM. Can you please tell me what could have gone wrong in this case.

      It means in the system folder the file myProperties is not present.

      @@advancecfdwithpratyush7162 Sir, but myProperties we had created for the new solver right? But the original icoFoam cavity folder did not have this. But now when I try to run the original cavity tutorial, it is showing myProperties is missing. I fear I have changed the original solver folder. But when I checked it, it did not have any changes. I hope you understand my query.

    Thanks for your helpful and detailed video! But why is the new pointer is used to get velocity and pressure fields? Can we use the normal method to create such fields? Thanks!

      Thanks for your feedback and reply. I am using the feature of OF to create these fields. You can create any kind of variable in whatever way you want. But since these variables need to be declared for mesh objects, we need to declare it this way. Btw, I can go deeper explain if you please point out that your question is related to exactly what duration?

      @@advancecfdwithpratyush7162 thank you for answering, I’ve tried to run tutorials with solver (MixingVessel2D and Tank3D), but there is no BlockMeshDict file in those cases, I’m quite stuck on this question. And overall guide on multiphase problem set up might be helpful for other viewers.

      One possibility could be: Just check the name of .C in Make/files it could be different from the .C you want to compile ...

      @@advancecfdwithpratyush7162 already checked and it's ok. I noticed that the same error occurs when I type wmake on a solver in the home folder. you think it has to do with administrator access? I am using windows btw. thanks for the response

    Sir please make a video on modifying " wallHeatTransferCoeff " postProcess utility to use it for pisoFoam solver. Currently it is only available for chtMultiRegionFoam solver.
