Recently I traveled in toy train from Ooty to Coonoor. Toy train in Ooty is a must have experience. Toy train for Ooty starts from Mettupalayam station. Only one toy train for this journey in a day. But there are many toy trains running between Ooty and Coonoor. There is also only one floor train from Ooty to Mettupalayam. Ooty train train has a scenic view all through the journey. I TOOK THE BUS FROM COIMBATORE TO OOTY FOR RS. 80/-
I STAYED AT THE HOSTEL (ZOSTEL) AND MADE MY BOOKINGS THROUGH BOOKING.COM.
Best time to visit: The best time to visit Ooty is between the months of October and June when the weather is pleasant and the flowers are in bloom.
How to reach: The nearest airport is Coimbatore, which is 88 km away from Ooty. The nearest railway station is Mettupalayam, which is about 40 km away. From there, you can take a toy train or hire a taxi to reach Ooty.
