Haglund's deformity resection - Dworska hospital®

Haglund's deformity is a pathological bony exostosis in the posterosuperior part of the calcaneus.
The conflict of the growths with the Achilles tendon causes mechanical irritation and also averts the proper functioning of the Achilles bursa.
A typical symptom is pain at the back of the heel, especially when wearing shoes with a hard heel counter.
Surgical removal of the Haglund deformity eliminates the tissue conflict, preventing further complications, including rupture of the Achilles tendon.
The surgeon cuts off the excess bone and then smoothes the surface.

Hay did it hurt or doctor give faint medicine before surgery😢?
The outside-in method in 3-4 zones of Shmigelsky gives very severe pain after operation, heavy and long contractures. I would offer such equipment only for 2 zones. all inside is suitable for 3-4 zones better. My opinion, excuse.

ACL repair should be performed up to 6-8 weeks after the ACL rupture. After this period, the ACL may not be able to heal into the femur. Probably you will require ACL reconstruction with a graft.
