Not 1/18 Jada 1966 Batmobile
Переглядів 1,7 тис.11 місяців тому
This is the review of the diecast Jada 1966 Batmobile with lights! Here I debunk the misinformation about it being a 1/18 scale car. Jada does not indicate a scale on the package. Watch me "do the math" on what the exact scale is of both the cart and ffigures. Collectors, don't miss out on this imortant lesson in scale.

Excelente video.
ua-cam.com/video/kuXYjBY8LdQ/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared. A compilation video of the gadgets and other utilites that Batgirl has used throughout her season.
Aren’t you a bid old to be playing with toys?
Do you know how to remove the ugly product sticker on the inside of Robin's cape?
No egghead?
Great review! That bottom gum drops down while they’re fleeing Hoth at the beginning of “the Empire Strikes Back”… not during “a new hope”
Not a word about how Jada got the color of the striping completely wrong. I guess that it is orange/yellow instead of the traditional red doesn't matter to you but it would to me which is too bad because, aside from that, it's a nice model even if it really isn't 1/18th scale as they claim.
I will say it's a nice batmobile but not the scale brought it for.
You're correct, it's not a 1:18 scale. I bought it to go with the Mezco figures, but it's way too small for a 3.75" action figure. Man, what a bummer! I got it from Amazon, so I'll probably send it back. I bought it to go with the Mezco figures. Dam!!
Dude you just got to love Batman’s gadgets 🦇🦇👍but i got to ask did you see the train car set for the 1966 series yet that came out around the same time
Awesome replicas. I was fortunate to have spent time with the animator Lee Mishkin (RIP) who did the opening animation to the Batman show. He was a very kind man and had many great stories. He told me that when Batgirl was introduced to the show, the studio didn't want to pay any extra money to update the opening so that's why Batgirl is on a a single animation cel pulled across the screen at an awkward angle with updated credits. I wish I had Lee draw me a few POWS! back then but alas. Enjoy!
Great as always!
Dam ..whole reason wanted this was to put the mezco 66 figures in it...dam. owell
Mmm...do do an internet search:"prisoner+ unmutual". This website is now prob the foremost re data on this hugely influential and mega cult, late 1960s TV series. It also has info on the regular FREE location tours (2 pa in central London and occ ones in nearby Elstree+Borehamwood). The latter, just north of London and the UKs Hollywood, is where most of the show was filmed. The NW Wales wonderful village of Portmeirion was actually only used in 2 "shoots"....BCNU..
2 days after I got it the smoke effect stop working and the pop up guns only worked sometime. Hope you have better luck than me.
The turntable stopped rotating for me lol
@@Mr_E_Nigma bummer man. Bad quality control. I never got another one.
@@georgepasymowski2508 me neither. Didn't wanna take a chance on it not working again. It's a real shame because it's they only official rotating batmobile display that I know of.
Sorry I could not watch it at the exact time! Atleast I can now. Brilliant
Water vapor!
Christmas in August
The turntable is cool which brings me to one of the joys of collecting which is display. I was always re-arranging my movie collection by genre, actor, source material, whatever struck my fancy at the time.
This is really a well thought out collectible. I even hessitate to call it a toy. Unlike some of the McFarlane vehicles. Wyhich are cheap plastic and not scaled corectly for the figures. His figures are great though. Go figure. NPI.
Yes. What is also great about the turntable is that you can plug it into a USB outlet and keep the turntable moving forever. While also keeping the car charged. The remote fits into the Turntable display for easy access and many of the features will operate while the car is in the turntable!
Apparently there was a re- release of this toy. “The Marauder edition “ I think it was called. It did not come with a Hans Solo or Chewbacca figure. I think the audio was different also.
There are two other versions of this ship… This is the legacy collection version. There is also a vintage collection version and there’s also an alternate vintage collection version from galaxies edge.
This appears my most popular video. Is this because there are a lot of lunchbox collectors?
Did he have a scale model of the 89 batmobile i kike to see a video of that
Math lessons no less!!!!!
Well done. Like how the 'afterburner' lights up,
L
Amazing review! Learned a lot thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Wow. 8000 views! There must be a lot of lunchbox collectors out there!
I will preorder one now. Large please!
From your Tee With Tony vid i like the Darth Vader / Death Star tee (#3?) Only being the grumpy old Boomer I am I gave up wearing Tees in general but more specifically tees with graphics. - that is, of course until I start rolling out the Trenchcat tees and coffee mugs!!!!
Brilliant unboxing man! Keep up the good work
Thanks!
@@unboxingcollectibles Nah I’m being for real that was good
@@Princeton5 Thanks. Are you a Star Wars fan? A fellow collector? What are your interests on UA-cam?
@@unboxingcollectiblesYeah i love star wars and yeah, i have a good amount of characters on the shelf. Spent ages trying to get the right blasters and Lightsabers 😂 and my interest is Star Wars
@@Princeton5 What scale do you like to collect? 1:18? The original size? or do you like the 1:12 or 1:6 scale which is so popular now?
LOL
I'm a long time Prisoner fan. Love the idea of Rover action figure, What's next? Lava lamps R us?
The Rover Pack is great for display. Another piece that is part of the series is an actual scale inflatable rover balloon, much like a small beach ball. If you ask me, it seems pretty tacky. That's why I didn't get one. Although, it's probably going to be a valuable collector item because they only gave these to the backers. Wandering Planet will probably not mass-produce them. In fact, we are all waiting for WP to mass-produce anything.
@@unboxingcollectibles I forget - is there a figure of the Butler?
@@JOEMORRISSEY70 YES, but he is in a Batman costume. This is from an episode on the show, where Alfred has to pretend to be Batman because Batman has to be Bruce Wayne at the same time!. The funny thing is that Alfred, even dressed as Batman, cannot hide his mustache, making the masquerade completely absurd!
@@unboxingcollectibles Not Alfred but the Butler from The Prisoner played by a undersize fella named Angelo Muscat.
@@JOEMORRISSEY70 ahhhh! No. There hasn’t been a figure of The butler yet. We do have a figure of one of the #2s as I describe in the video. I imagine if the company takes off that there will be additional figures. However, judging from their shaky operations to date, this may never happen, and the figures that we backers have may be the only figures ever produced.
Id like Aunt Harriet and Alfred and Batgirl added as well- done with the repeats.
I bought the lunchbox I love it
So cool. I hope you enjoyed my background about when I was a kid, and we all had these sorts of lunch boxes.
Thanks
I wish they would make Commissioner gordon, chief OHara and Alfredd Figures and a commisssionr Gordon's office set.
I wish they would make a Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson. Then you could place them in the new Library play set and have them slide down the pole. Todd keeps coming out with new figures for this series and I wouldn’t be sure if Batgirl is in the works. Tune in next time! Same BAT time, same BAT channel!
@@unboxingcollectibles does Todd do the actual sculpting? I would think not. Ive been tyring to find King Tut no such luck. I wish they would stop with the pink cowl Batman, or boxing gloves Riddler, or Surfing Batman nonesense and also te idiotic Black and White versions for kids who didnt have a color tv set in the 60s. They just stick with the basics like Batman, Robin, Alfred, Commissionr Gordon, Chief Ohara, Batgirl, Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler, Egghead, King Tut, mad Hatter, Mr Freeze, et all.
@@3dartistguy You can pre-order King Tut on Target.com now.
@@3dartistguy Todd doesn’t sculpt. He is a comic book artist after all.. Most famous for inventing. Spawn. He does decide what products will be created since he is the owner of the company. I for one appreciate the Radioactive Batman and the Joker with swim trunks, the Batman and Riddler with boxing gloves, since they are representations of specific episodes. BTW. There IS an Alfred but he is dressed as Batman from the episode “Walk the Straight and Narrow”
@@unboxingcollectibles I couldn’t stand the surfing Batman episode. A real low point In the series. But ag as in I wish they had done more if the basic villains first like again mad hatter, mr freeze, bookworm, false face, minstrel, before dad ping that silly surfing Batman or pink cowl Batman. And they should do Alfred in his regular suit and or commissioner Gordon and chief O’Hara as well.
Of course the Riddler was also portrayed by John Astin ... and his mustache.
Yes you are right! I forgot about that. I think it was only one episode though.
I wish I could retire to receive interesting products. Also, the survival blanket is to help you avoid hypothermia when your phaser can no longer heat up the rock to keep you warm. :-)
Yes, I remember in the episode they all wore them as they huddled around the rock they had warmed with the phaser.

How did you get the app in 2022?
What do you mean. I downloaded it when it came out.
The app is no longer available. If you downloaded it when it first came out and you still have it on your phone you are fortunate.
