Welcome back to Malaysia.
Hello mate, super helpful video. Thanks so much. I’m from the UK and flying out to Thailand in a few days. And haven’t applied for a visa because I read that you get 30-45 days upon arrival. But then when I’ve been looking at applications, it’s stated you need a flight booked out of Thailand. Obviously your video means you don’t need the latter. I’m hoping to travel around Thailand for about 4 months. And have a one way ticket booked. Any extra info would be super helpful. Thanks mate!
I’ve also had friends who flew in Thailand and didn’t need to apply for a visa, they just got 45 days granted upon arrival and didn’t need to show a departure flight.
Hey James, That’s correct! Pretty much every country says you need an onward flight. In my months of travel to multiple countries I have never actually been asked for one. That said, there are ways of having an onward flight for a fraction of the price temporarily.
Why didn't you opt for the train, at the most 2hrs ride (butterworth to Arau)) then take a grab from arau to Kuala perlis (30min) and then the ferry ride?
When I think about it… that would of been the logical choice 😂
Wow, reminds me why I left the UK - increase my confidence!
So true! My attitude and confidence towards everything these last few months has changed massively!
Great stuff Bro. Welcome come back to KL.
Thanks! I’m in Bali for a bit relaxing right now but will be heading back soon! Looking forward to getting some more content out!

If i meet you in cambodia i wil be the first one asking for an autograph :)
If you see me come say hi!
It is very touristic but worth doing. You don't feel it the same when you are on the river. Some how is does not get crowded. I did number 3 route so it's nice to see how number 1 would have been. 🧡👏
I’m so glad I did it, like you say once your on the river it’s really peaceful. I shared a boat with 3 elderly Vietnamese ladies who loved to sing 😂.
love the music on this one, got me banging my head to it😆. Bored while waiting for my bus to Koh Samui so watching your videos 🙈
I had so much fun making this video! Thanks for watching!
when I was at that waterfall I got a little rainbow😍
Aw I'm so jealous! It Truly is a beautiful place isnt it?
was that a crocodile? no way😆
I'm not sure what it was! I have seen them in waters around Bangkok a few times now, I think they are some kind of Lizard?
Thanks. I intended on doing this online through the Thai Consulate in Chicago before I left the U.S. 1 September. It’s a little cheaper and I wouldn’t have to use any vacation time to do it in Chiangmai. However, they don’t answer any questions by either calling or emailing them. I assumed that if I interpreted one question wrong, they would have me correct the application online. In reality, they wanted me to start all over and pay another $40. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and do the application face to face in Chiangmai. By the way, my problem on the application was that they wanted a letter, if I were staying at a private residence, with the owner of the residence granting me permission to stay. The problem is that my Thai wife and I own the residence.
Hey! Sorry for the late response, choppy internet at the moment! It is a lot easier to do in person as someone walks you through it. I was staying in a condo and they wanted my “landlord” to provide another document. Luckily they replied quick and bodged one together for immigration. Most of its just tick box exercise, I hope you managed to get it all sorted Dean 😀
Oh you had a private room there nice
Bruvvvv chiang mai is so pretty
