@@OscarDontCare that really doesn't help the case man. Like not to be an ass but you aren't helping at all, that's partially the reason grinders get such a bad rap is because of people who spawn in infinite great ones and Diamonds
@the_Kreed556 I play single player not mulitplayer on pc my point is I play how I want console players are limited to how they play and can't play how they want too meanwhile I can have mods that make animals freeze and make me invisible or silent 😂😂. Ew don't care about that they just care about making life harder on the actual players 💀💀
@@OscarDontCare that, is factual. And I suppose as long as you do go around parading like you earn them and say it's modded it's alright..but they most definitely are making trophies harder for new players instead of focusing on more important issjes

Oh, no. We can't just teleport to animals and reset the spawn every time we run out of males, what a nightmare! They patched a bug that was being exploited (tents) and made a change to a feature that made tents easier to exploit (main menu spawn reset) Real hunting techniques should be the most effective methods, spot and stalk in the open, still hunting in thick brush, stand hunting over need zones and choke points. Teleporting directly to animals and resetting when you run out is not a valid hunting technique. You were exploiting the game and your exploit got patched out, get over it.
@@hunterPRO1 ah yes an exploit the DEVS themselves used for 7 years ever since great one Whitetail were released. I would be perfectly okay with it if it was patched out years ago, but don't let people use it, the dev team use it, larger creators use it for 7 years and patch it out. If I wanted to play a realistic hunting game I'd play Hunting Sim 2 or WOTH, it's a video game. I don't want to spend multiple real life hours stalking and hunting one shit animal. Let people play their video game how they want, you want realism? get out into the woods and hunt. Great ones aren't realistic so why should their hunting methods be?
@@the_Kreed556 "I would be ok if it was patched out years ago" no you wouldn't you just want the easiest path to collect all the little Pokémon deer. What's the difference between then and now? I'm glad to see things being fixed and look forward to more in the future.
@@hunterPRO1 the difference between then and now is they switched up how people have grinded for years, not months, not week, years. Actual years of their lives have been spent doing things a certain way, which is okayed by the devs and the devs were fine with it.. I'm not tripping because they'll likely revert it due to the outrage of people like Mel, I buy, Ron. But it does make me excessively angry that not only did they sneak in the update early, they're also being incredibly vague about it hell I wouldn't be as mad if there was some openness and honesty with EW but there isn't. It's all vague, half-assed responses with little to no care behind what happens.
Grinding is a part of every game. Grinders in games give causal players the knowledge its possible. GTA nerfs grinding when it makes too much money because they sell sharkcards but in COTW it makes no difference. If it wasn't for the grinders casual players wouldn't know about GOs or most fur types because they just dont show up as often. I never grinded before this map, then I spent the last month since its release hunting only tigers. Went from about 14 an hour to 3, if I'm lucky and find him quick.
@@hectech its bad. They most definitely messed up grinding and I'm doing everything in my power to fix it.
It's sad the EW chose to ignore the fanbase and make an update that is completely opinionated. Their 2024 trailer makes it very clear to us to play the game YOUR WAY. But now I see that it was a lie and to make us spend more money for a digital map and guns. I have been playing since 2021 and have over 900hrs in game. This update is the final straw and will be uninstalling to save me 89GB!
@@ohshootarat4840 I can't uninstall personally as this games became a main stable of my channel. But, I'll be trying to get them to revert the changes to the best of my ability

@@ohshootarat4840 it's very annoying especially from a content creator standpoint. It messes up a ton of projects I was working on. Id have been fine with this update if it had happened years ago, but because it happened 7 years post when the updates happened, if really pisses me off
Idk man, I’ve been playing this game for a few years on and off and can remember when these features were in the game; ie, the spooking on fast travel and animals rendering properly; and can vividly remember updates breaking them and even UA-camrs acknowledging that they may be fixed in future patches. So it really is a case of a lot of these exploits that grinders have become so comfortable using, not actually being intended features to begin with, and the devs trying to fix what has broken in the past. Yes there is a HUGE part of the community that enjoys the exploits and who have created almost a mini community out of it; but all good things come to an end. And let’s be real; it doesn’t change the grind that much. So you have to put some more time in and can’t just teleport around getting kills; not that big a deal. I don’t want to seem insensitive because I understand it’s how you like to play but it isn’t that big of a deal. I’ve changed my play style a few times and switched between them again and again; just to stay entertained let alone anything else. It’s a massive part of hunting. And hunting is kind of the name of the game.

It seems that tahr have really been the most affected by this update which is so sad! I was fortunate enough to get 2 tahr but they scored the exact same and my least favorite furs hopefully they tweak this

I’m not sure if it makes much of a difference for me personally I’ve been playing over 4 years or so. But I’ve taken a more realistic approach than grinding
@@ericbugg4201 i grind like an industrial warehouse, get around 60 kills an hour on WT and Fallow and 30 an hour on Moose. Im lucky to get 10 an hour post update

@@Timosaurus48 oh that's- a great point actually. Basically, Zeroing is how you measure Distance from your target. For example, you have a moose three hundred meters away. You'll use the zeroing, make it 300, and you can use the center of your scope without having to adjust for bullet drop
