Building my jet boat right now, instead of cutting the jet ski hull and bolting it to the jon boat i welded up a tunnle for the intake to set in... I think im doing it wrong.

Thats a transmission issue not an engine issue. Sadly seems you got the worse of the two bad transmission options.

Funny, I use my 07 with an auto tranny to pull my mini all over the mountains in CO. I've had a few engine brake issues but other then that it hasn't given any problems

You got the Wrong transmission The Aisin Transmission that Dodge used in the 4500 and 5500 is Best choice
