Why do we need a capture card to hook into my iPad Air? Wouldn’t a special cable from mini HDMI to UBC-C into my iPad do the same thing? Just for monitoring in my home studio. Does it link the video taken with the audio track and export to a Wave file or MP4?
Do you ever find you need something between Projects and Tasks. Another data base called milestones or subprojects?
Does it work on a windows pc victus because my Ethernet broke...
Yes. I just tested it on my wife's Windows PC.
Question: I have a MacBook Air M3 laptop and would like to use this device to connect 2 external monitors while typing on the Mac, so lid open. I would like to connect Wavlink via laptop USB-C port and 2 monitors via HDMI-HDMI in completely split configuration - each with it's own display space. Do I need some special DisplayLink enabled monitors, or does this device resolves compatibility with standard displays, like Dell P2419HC? Does this device sacrifice a lot of original frequency? Thank you.
Yes, you can use those external monitors like that. There are no special DisplayLink monitors. The DisplayLink adapters take care of all that. As far as frequency, I think you mean refresh rate. I believe that you might lose a little bit of refresh rate. For example, if you have. gaming monitor that does 120Hz, it might limit it to 60Hz. In other words, I wouldn't use this for gaming. DisplayLink adapters are great for productivity situations.
After 3 months of use, what are your final thoughts? Some people complain about the battery life and the software have you had these issues in particular
Which mode would you use to set up your network when using your phone’s data? I need something like that for our beach house and I will be using my data plan.
can this be used as a wifi repeater?
FYI... I'm working on an updated 2025 video. This upcoming video will address the question of captive portals and other Wifi Adapters.
U earned a sub and a like
Hey what’s the software
It's called the GK6X app. You can find it by searching for "skyloong keyboard software" in Google.
Hi Does it detect cigarette smoke?
Excellent, balanced an informative comparison. Thank you heaps
I have the UDS033C and I am trying to get it to recognize three external monitors. It is only recognizing two of them. The one that is not being recognized uses a HDMI --> Display port cable and I wonder if that is the problem (The monitor (LG) only has a Display Port which is why I am using a HDMI --> DP cable))
Big, ugly, unconvincing. This product is a total fail.
can I use another dual display adapter and just use the DisplayLink driver?
I believe you can use multiple DisplayLink adapter and just have the DisplayLink manager running.
I have the fifine version and in the same boat...not enough integration. thanks Patrick
I tried this, but when I went back to check my original scene, these new display settings destroyed my carefully setup original scene. I thought that by creating this new scene I would have a new separate setting. Is there any way I can have these new aspect ratio settings individual per cene instead of global?
Hi, i came from the outdated video.. i was wondering what exactly do I need to setup this rsp pi router? i know the pi.. an ethernet.. so do we need two dongles?? ... and then a sd card.. how do I know which dongles are compatible??
Can you load any format and different format on the play back storage will it be recognized by the OSEE unlike in blackmagic Hyperdeck ?
Does this keyboard work on ps5?
It should
The soft rubber part has rip open on mine. Can i replace it?? Please answer
This review omits the router's Client mode, which is my use case. In Client mode, the router can connect to a wireless signal (an iPhone hotspot, in my case) and output a wired connection to another device (a UniFi UDM SE, in my case). I'll be using the router to provide an ad hoc second ISP into my UDM SE to act as a failover should my primary ISP service go out. I think this is the absolute cheapest way to get redundant Internet connectivity for ISP-down situations, and without a recurring charge.
I ordered this keyboard but the menu and everything on the keyboard screen is in Chinese. Do you know how to change the language to English?
Thank you - this is exactly what I was looking for and helps me a lot 💡
is the led on number 4 stuck on yellow?
Necro, but the 4 is a charging indicator. Goes from red to yellow to green.
Was hoping the software would allow auto switching based on the audio inputs like the MixEffect app can for the Atem mini
Great Video!! Thank you! God bless!
I will get Beryl AX I am 10%
This is the mic test that Im looking for!!! Great job!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
No rapid trigger?
What’s your opinion ? Starlink mini vs Gl.inet , i travel a lot on cruise ship , thanks
Mine will not work what to do?
Hi, thanks for the informative video. I have done everything, my RasAP is up. Then after a few hours, wifi disconnected and I couldn’t re-connect in raspi-webgui until I rebooted forcely again and again. Until the system was corrupted. Could you please advise what to do, thanks in advance.
Love the video! I’ve been looking for more price friendly stream decks. Do you know if a user can upload their own custom button icons?
Yes you can.
With RaspAP, can you force all your internet traffic through a VPN?
I got this for black Friday cheap about 44 dollars Test only in house snice black Friday tp link good item I have all my items from them new wifi 7 router
my dhcp.conf was empty
I am assuming it will work with Mac mini m4 as well? Will it last for 6-7 hours? practical to keep in car and use?
Thank you so much for developing this extension, it’s really well done and works great! I’ve tested it and noticed a few points worth mentioning: Page Size Limits: Due to Notion’s API limitations (about 2000 characters per property and 100 blocks per request), large Notion pages can get truncated in the output. While there’s no error, the content is cut off. To work around this, I split my large pages into sub-pages and displayed them on a single WordPress page using shortcodes. It works, but perhaps an improvement could be made by breaking content into smaller manageable chunks and reconstructing it afterward-though I understand this might add complexity. Image Handling: When images have the same name (e.g., "image"), even with incremented numbers, errors can occur. In my tests, some images displayed incorrectly. Renaming all images before re-importing them into Notion could solve this, but it’s a lot of manual work. Improving how image conflicts are handled would be a huge plus, especially since pages can share similar image names. That said, I loved the ability to style images by adding frames, shadows, and automatic margins, which integrate them nicely into the text. Page Sorting: In the configuration, if you’re managing many pages, it would be helpful to add a sorting option, like sorting by "last updated," for better organization. Auto-Update Intervals: Adding more options for the auto-update interval, like weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or even annually, could be useful. An annual option could serve as a way to stop updates entirely while keeping the page available in the tool. Multiple Databases: Right now, it’s limited to one database. Allowing multiple databases would make it easier to manage and display content across several sources. Overall, this is a fantastic tool with great functionality. Thanks again for your hard work!
Plastic pi case gives better WiFi signal than the metal one
Thanks for sharing this. Clearly explains rollups!
Firstly, the 2GB model is sufficient, assuming that you are using this device as a dedicated travel router. I prefer to install OpenWRT for RasPi. The WiFi is off by default. For initial setup, we need to login via the LAN Ethernet interface (192.168.1.1). The plus point with OpenWRT is that you don't need a separate Wi-Fi dongle. The OpenWRT presents the 2.4 and 5 Ghz radios as separate devices. You can configure the 2.4 Ghz radio as the "client" for the "hosting" Wi-Fi network and the 5.0 Ghz radio as the Wi-Fi AP for your devices. So, there is no need for a USB Wi-Fi dongle. It also has multi WAN capability. With multiwan, you can USB tether your cell phone to the RasPi USB port and use that while you are on the road! For VPN it supports openVPN and WireGuard server and client. Choose a provider that provides instructions for Linux devices. There's a DLNA package to host your media files. So kids (big, small, toddlers) can watch/listen to what they like. This is just scratching the surface of possibilities with OpenWRT!
I'll have to look into OpenWRT. Honestly use a separate travel router now instead of this solution but I use the Raspberry Pi for development work. I'm trying to slim down my gear to only carry a few items. It would be great to carry one less device and eliminate my dedicated travel router.
@@EverydayTechTV Thanks for putting the vlog. Learnt something new, RasAP. Try out openwrt, I'm confident you'll switch to it 😊
Thank you so much! I wanted to capture menu settings and button customizations for an instructional video to save to my photos app as well as capture exactly what I was seeing on the camera screen. The methods (apps) shown in this video did the trick as well as provided a way to capture videos of both still operation as well as video operation!!!
Just found this, and it is very helpful and easy to follow. I am trying to make some changes to our church livestream, but when I try to open Companion I get a "Multiple Instances" error that gives me a bunch of Java when I click "OK". Hoping that I can get some help through Bitfocus, but thought I'd see if anyone reading these comments can help. Thanks in advance.
It is better to use hide expert vpn, which is a pretty good vpn
Do we need to recharge it every month?
its doesn't work at all on my end, the display always mirror, aarrgghh
I was ready to support you both by using affiliated links and subscribing but then It is mighty easy to follow you until it comes to import tunnel from the pi, then you just skip to where to use the VPN How to install this tunnel and where to look, you do EXACTLY like Wolfgang, Craft Computing, Byte My Pi, Tall Paul Tech and all the others, you let us hanging So thank you for half ass tutorial
How do you display all 4 cameras at once?
Where is the 4th external monitor? I see 3 external and the built in monitor.
