I have the OS .30 (new, old-stock). When I'm driving full speed, it runs great. When I bring the throttle down to idle (or put the full brake on), the throttle goes down. About a second later, with the throttle still at idle or full brake, on its own the engine revs up again. And then, on its own without me altering the throttle, it SLOWLY goes back to an idle speed. If I keep the engine at idle for too long, it's stalls. What does this mean?

Would you need some sort of voltage regulator in the system to separate the 1.2 volts needed for the glow plug from the 7.2 volts required to turn the stater motor? What do you use as a switch, are you running a relay?

I have the OS .30VG (new, old-stock) in my monster truck. The engine runs great at speed, but if I idle too long it stalls. The only solution is to set my idle speed high, but then the wheels start spinning. This becomes a problem when I'm racing against friends and waiting to start at the start-line. One other issue it this: when I'm racing at high speed, then I slow the truck and put the brakes on, the rpms go down, but it then speeds up a bit on it's own. I've never played around with the low-speed needle, so I'm wondering if I should lean it or richen it.

I always when getting a second hand nitro flush needles then I know I'm rich then just tune in abit to get that sweet spot once ya get ya head round it it's not that hard. ❤

Hold the fuel line into the Carb, if the car shuts off after 5 seconds, lean it out till your around 4 second shut off? I've just gotten my WR8 through its 5 break in tanks, starting to do the tune on it now, not my first nitro break in, but I wanna make sure I tune this girl good, an absolute beast of a platform and setting it up to rip needs to happen.

Currently breaking in my first engine. I've idled 4 - 5 tanks through it - very rich I THINK as it was spitting a ton of oil the entire time. At this point, my engine will idle fine - but if I give it throttle too fast - it dies. If I ease the throttle on very slowly - I can get the rpms to climb. Is this an overly rich LSN?

my kyosho engine is totally oout of tune. how many turns from closed should each needle be to start properly tunning my engine. it is the ke21 rtr version

What is the name of the kyosho vehicle with the flame-shaped body? Did you make the body pattern yourself?

Not sure if this is the same issue I’m having. Same engine .25 on Kyosho. It’s basically new but The idle seems to rev up and down then will shut off if I’m not giving it gas. Any suggestions?

Was this motor preheated or straight cold when started?

You don't use simple green? That is the best stuff and soapy water . But whatever works for you my friend.

My revo high side seems good.but on take off doesn't seem to have any balls

I don't know i tried all kinds of ways here after running for 10-15 minutes runs good the when i go the pull full throttle it just boggs down and sounds like it.going to shut off.Its a 3.3 hsn 3-1/2 out low 1-1/2 out.

It’s weird my 3.3 shuts off right at 5 seconds with the fuel pinch test but I can’t ever get a good low end tune I don’t get it

Question just got my revo 3.3 out now when running it has a gurgling.Right now my high side about 2 turns out my low side I get 3 seconds and it dies out on the pinch test

A little lean on the high speed needle . Hear the high idle after you come back from hi speed run then it settles down.
