does this one have auto level ?

We had a propane frig in our travel trailer for 13 years. We were never aware that it was illegal to run the frig while traveling. Never had a problem, and the frig always worked great.... I think you hit the nail on the head... "There cheaper to build." The number one reason they're using them. We recently bought a new 5th wheel with a Furion 12 volt frig. It seems to work ok, but it is cheap. One of the shelves cracked already.. All we had in the shelf was a jar of peanut butter and a jar of salsa. Cheap is the new word in RVs in 2024.

New trailer with 12 v fridge. Lasted three days before it sucked fully charged batteries with solar dry. Miss the propane.

forest river is junk they break and the warranty department does not help mine breaks all the time been a year still have problems my suspension broke going down the road and they did not call back so i had to fix it myself then after me calling for months they call back and did not warranty it forest river is horrible

do not buy a forest river they will not return your calls for your warranty work it is horrible service and my suspension broke goin down the road and they did not call back to fix

I have been in my 32 foot Class C motorhome for many years, I am now getting a travel trailer and it has the Furrion 12V fridge so I needed to learn a bit about it. The information you supplied about people running down the highway with the propane on has bothered me for so many years, I never left mine on and my brews were always cold when I arrived at my destination. Leaving the propane on absolutely burned many an RV to the ground on the side of the road. It always starts in the fridge area!! Wise up people turn the gas off, it is a Federal law besides all of the safety issues mentioned here.

Very nice looking, but will everything work once I get it home. I’m hearing horror stories about factory quality control from these RV companies.

We just bought this exact same 2022 model with the full warranty for like $33k, and will pick it up in few days. So excited!

There are two types of 12V compressor refrigerators. One uses a variable speed, Danfoss type compressor (Everchill, Dometic) and the other type uses a much less efficient, constant speed compressor. I see nothing that indicates the Furion uses the variable speed unit - someone correct me if I'm wrong. If there's any chance you want to run it off-grid, you want the more efficient design.

The Winnebago MicroMinnie 2405RG is shorter at 27 feet and lighter at just under 6,000 lbs dry weight and right at 8,000 lbs GVW making it truly half ton towable with a wider selection of pickups. It is also a foot narrower which means that the trailer is easier to see around with normal mirrors and has less wind drag as well as making it track the same as the tow vehicle. Unfortunately Winnebago only made the MicoMinnie 5th wheel for a couple of years and it was discontinued in 2021.

This layout is very strange with the split dinette in the rear, which does not serve as a sleeping position. Murphy bed setup is really strange and just not very functional in a small TT. I'm sold on the KZ 180TH, which can accommodate 2 adults in the lower bunk, an adult or 2 small children in the upper bunk, an adult on the fold down bench seat AND when the toy is removed, an inflatable Serta twin sized bed is an option for another sleeping position, total of 5-6 people.

I do wish they'd mount the bathroom door on the left to ease going in/out from the bedroom.

Re: Norcold Refrigerator/Freezer. Gas/Electric. BUYERS BEWARE!!! I have a New Norcold in My 2020 Bighorn. I'm Full time set up permanent in an RV Park. It's not true that it works better on Electric. Gas makes no difference. Nothing but problems straight from the Dealer Lot. According to a different Dealership It's been such a problem with these that Norcold sent thier people to different Dealers to train thier Service Departments a quick fix that only helps a little temporarily. Something Called Door Sag where they take a door off and Add washers to the Hinges. I have to Defrost my freezer every week and a half or so. Ice cream is like Ice Cream Soup. It doesn't drain outside the Unit. It Drains out in Refridgerator. I have thrown away litterly Hundreds of Dollar in Groceries. I live in a West Coast Coastal town where the Yearly Average Temperature is 64° The Refrigerator Tempature after being closed all night is 42°. The Dealer Service Manager told me that Norcold Doesn't want to Replace it. I'm currently in the Process of retaining Legal Representation. Not just for Norcold but Heartland as Well. This Unit is an absolute Lemon.

Hi great video, the 12v fridge has many advantages, the major disadvantage is high power usage especially when boom docking. Someone has to design a low power use compressor. A lot of rental RV's have compressor fridges because they are safer and cause less problems. I have a small RV with a 5 year old 100L compressor fridge. I need a large solar battery system set up to run the fridge especially when boom docking. A generator would help but expect to run it every overcast day when the solar can't work. With what l have learned from my power usage problems with compressor fridges, l would never buy another RV with a compressor fridge.

I’ve got a smaller Everchill 12V refrigerator, and it works like a charm. My dealership put a deep cycle marine battery in my camper, and it does a great job keeping my camper going. My fridge can run 4 days just on battery power. That’s with the knob cranked to max setting! RV technology has come a long ways, that’s for sure.

Nice trailer but why are you always pointed up? Never see floors or cupboards lower storage?

Well I hope FR's other models keep the full wardrobe because that corner one in the bedroom is just not enough. It saves costs to look like an afterthought feature. For queen beds you're able to do east/west without a slide _and still_ have room for a full wall-length closet. It's a FT necessity.
