1.25mm on the low E and 1mm on the high E. It`s only possible to get that low after everything is setup perfectly though

@thomastucker5686 I love Fender guitars (in fact all guitars). Just sometimes they need a little help. This one was really unusual and stunning to look at and the customer was happy with the result. @@RideAcrossTheRiver I have a Fender strat on my right, that has been to a luthier and a chinese guitar to my right straight out of the box. The Fender is in a case because it just doesn't play as nicely. I purchase two of these guitars expecting to hate them. One is a strat style and the other a tele style. I had the 3 Fenders first. If the Fenders were as good as these chinese instruments, I wouldn't have even considered ordering lower end instruments in the first place. I seriously thought I would need to give these cheap guitars away to beginners after making them playable. They are not perfect. There are a couple frets that need attention and the nuts need a little adjustment, but out of the box impressive. I have access to 100 guitars. I play a different guitar every week in the studio. I love the really nice expensive guitars that are very well made. The necks on these cheap guitars feel just as good as the custom shop stuff. That is why I am keeping them. The pickups are not great. They are on par with some Fender pickups. I will likely put Fender noiseless in both of them. Those record really well. So that is the deal with the only two cheap chinese guitars I own. They feel great in my hands. I tried to order more and I can't get them. They stopped selling them.

@@thomastucker5686 Necks are cut by CNC machine. Why are you buying guitars by remote sale, though? Go down to an actual shop and play actual guitars before buying them. Why give money to China?

@@RideAcrossTheRiver we do not have a guitar shop worth visiting near us. When I was trying to purchase a Gibson, I did travel the distance. For less than $1k I will risk purchasing a Fender, when I did, assuming Fender wouldn't send me unfinished product. Their worst offense is lousy fretwork. I took the risk and lost with Fenders. I took what looked to be a far greater risk with the chinese guitars, that I was certain I wouldn't like for a host of reasons and found the reverse of what I expected. I love going to guitar shops and taking guitars off the wall for hours. That was my regular experience before I moved to a less densely populated region. I still get to the guitar shop at least once per year. Sometimes for drum gear.
