Saw Suppers' Ready in performed in Detroit at the Ford Auditorium probably '73. Somebody seriously overestimated a pyrotechnics charge. Scared the shit out of everybody present :)

Theres another blunder in which tony forgets to switch to the violins tape on the mellotron for hairless heart and he uses choir which sounds very interesting

The keyboard mishap at 2:45 happened on October 15, 1986 at the LA Forum in the US. During that show (or the show on October 16, I don't remember) Tony hits a rather ugly bum note during the Apocalypse keyboard solo in Supper's Ready too.

Saw them in 83. No booing whatsoever

The way the crowd was so rowdy and aggressive during the Toronto show made me feel bad for Peter and the rest of the band having to deal with all that mess.

Even professional musicians can have an off day at the worst possible time.

The times where Phil’s voice gave out, the band should have played all of their instrumental songs and then ended the show rather than just being done. You could fill a decent sized set with those.

First bit isn't really a mishap, just Bill Bruford going off piste, as Bill Bruford likes to do - if the others can't stand the heat...! The Firth Of Fifth solo is Steve's tape delay changing speed, not any actual wrong notes played.

Genesis are consummate pro's. Never cancelling due to being hung over from the previous nite, or any such thing. BUT, on rare occasions, even thew greats have a mishap, once every blue moon.

Just goes to show they are human and things happen out their control.

Phil's drum groove starting at 23:00 is so funky it could have easily been on a Headhunters record!

One of my favourites (that isn’t in here) is in what I believe is the first recorded show with Phil as the frontman - he starts singing the lyrics to the final verse of Firth of Fifth during the second verse, which causes some trouble when he gets to “the river of constant change” line lol

I never knew about Phil being sick, and bowing out in the middle of the show back in May 1992. That must have been totally heartbreaking for him, and of course all of the diehard fans who paid to see that show. I hope they were all given full refunds that night?

This song was up when the festival was happening, never to be uploaded again. I thought within days they would uploaded, in fact it was the opposite. Coahella was uploading little snipets of certain songs and removing everything else. This is nuts because watching the thing live was free. I don't understand the logic.

Have multiple Genesis shows been cancelled? Perhaps for multiple reasons... I remember I as at the 1989(?) show in Rotterdam Holland, and Phil called it off at the end because of annoying people in the audience

I can totally share in Tony's dilemma . I was an entirely sample based electronic drummer ( Akai S6000) and they turned off the auditorium lights for the opening of the show. But it turned off all my electronics and it took a long time to load all the samples and programs again.

I hope they play this song in Denver. Its my fav song off the new album

That is great, we all are only humans and mistakes, faults can happen. So that is life, but watching those "impacts" is funny nevertheless. The best is "Keybord fail", a Genesis sound without Tony's keyboard work is a bit "poor".

I wish Last Domino had made it to Los Angeles. We had been loyal fans for many years but we understood. Love them always. Would even “settle” for a reboot with Ray Wilson. He deserves another chance. Life is too short to be picky.
