@@vorck111 I had no problem hitting the target, the DPS was substantially inferior. I build my ship with 2 wings angling upward from the bridge module and hang engines from there, then make a stem downwards with a perpindicular row of guns. This way you keep the mass down and agility up and you are always facing away from what you are shooting and able to kite them at range. I can finish the whole game on very hard setting with an explorer hull. All other weapons in the game are just not even close to as effective as fixed guns MKII in my opinion.
