This video is of Clan Wars. You have to be in a clan and have 4 players ready to play when the session is open. Next week (I could be wrong by a week), there should Uranium Wars. There are different versions of UW and one of those versions does not require grouping up a team of 4.

If you're just starting out in CW, I think you'll see a more diverse set of builds and Bigram builds will get you in. But I haven't seen much in Bigram spiders since they were nerfed. After the nerf, bricks were able to push Bigram around and it was bad--I assume it's still the same. This game is constantly changing so just in there. See what works and what doesn't. And don't let a single loss determine anything. Just look at the loss as a learning experience and then decide whether it was a build issue or a team/timing issue. I will mention lots of wheeled builds out there. Even Whirl dogs. And under-mounted Gravastar bricks. But... Just get in there and win some ore. And don't listen to me much. I'm still salty about all the changes making my builds/parts obsolete lol

I haven't given up on the game, just not as much free time irl to play the game lately. There's Levi wars today. If our clan can put a team together, I'll save some gameplay to upload. I still like the overall game--I still find little pockets of joy playing it. Just wish I had more free time to play it more

I just realized that maybe you run around with a Helios Catalina? It's definitely a fun build and really dangerous when stacked; moreso if used by a good player (not me lol).

@@rock_and_ink yes I like a helios catalina with teammates. When I'm not focused by a mg build I can do a lot of damage.

The queues are pretty fast so you're not the only one. The mode reminds me of that COD mode where you have to snag the dog tags: Kill Confirmed.

Thanks. The sticks worked out great. They feel different from the normal sticks--maybe they're smoother? And the battery life? The battery seems to last a lot longer. I haven't had a real opportunity to use the controller with voice chat for that long but it stays at 3 bars for a couple hours that I've noticed. A big difference. I also removed the rumble motors--that lightened up the controller tremendously. I also didn't calibrate the new sticks. It works just fine without that extra step. It might make a difference for a high level player but I don't know what difference it would make.

You know, I think there was a version that was right at 13k durability. Then, some bumpers were put on instead. Tbh, it does need a bit of revision. The cabin is fused for durability. But, for me, building takes so much time and that's something I just haven't had enough of lately...

@rock_and_ink I hear you on the time thing. I haven't had time to do squat except for daily challenges lately. I have a few levis that range from 12.6-13.5k dura. We just don't run much these days. When we do run, we don't lose much. In chill mode at the moment. Maybe we'll cross paths out there again, good buddy✌️

I don't know exactly what you've said here but I didn't think cheating was possible... I mean, there can't be a way to strip weapons faster--can there? I did some searching on Google about what you mentioned here and from what I read, keyboard and mouse have both pros and cons. I.e., it doesn't work like PC because the keyboard and mouse emulate what the controller does. I honestly don't know.... Very curious. I will say that some people seem to be using a DDOS device. But because I just learned about this type of thing, I'm only now starting to pay attention....

I didn't think so but are you stating or asking? Most clan members are EU so you may be correct.

I will respectfully decline. I was just telling someone that I'll probably join a clan based on the name. I'm just browsing the leaderboard for funny and/or neutral names. Not looking for anything serious or a name with a statement. If I want to make a statement, I'd just make my own clan.

Agreed. I jumped in expecting as much. But this match, I don't know what was going on with the players. At one point, I think I noticed that they were just trying to kill each other which left me alone to chase the puck. It was a strange match--definitely not what I saw in the other couple matches I played.

yeah I saw them attacking you and each other, and the fact it was a scorp attacking you which barely has any knockback, you just ignored it completely lmao

I'm trying to win matches to maximize reward/time/effort. And some are just having fun. Whatever rocks their boat, I say. I especially dislike teammates who think points are the end-all. "Points don't mean [squat] if your team loses." -Ledojo, cir. 2024

Or... One Levi with all the weapons AND slots for the other builds with everything to lock in with Contact 2Ms. Then, one Levi driver and the rest focus on shooting. Something like a giant landship with one driver and 3 gunners. I'll wait to get that blueprint from you!

That sounds good. I didn't do that myself because (I don't really know) I've always looked at Imps as fast tap-fire versus hold the trigger down. But I definitely hold the trigger down on Imps when close to the enemy so your build probably does very well.

@mephistopheles8220 You can test drive Leviathans from Exhibition and your own builds... You can also do Custom Battles using leviathan blueprints. Check it out next time.

It is on Exhibition but you have to uncheck Trending. The only difference between mine and the one on exhibition are modules and a couple structural parts. I tried changing to the brand new Ravager parts but had to change back to keep PS at ≤6499.

@@rock_and_ink i found it, and it looks so much different in the exhibition, i think i took it one day and tried to upgrade it and took it way out of its league, ill have to give it another go and keep her around the 6500

I've never had Waltz rocket launchers. But I'll say I never see them in clan wars. I may have seen them but it's definitely not regularly. I say this because if they were easy-to-use or great, I think I would see them a lot more. One thing I dislike is the spiral trajectory of the rockets. But maybe that's a good attribute? Hammerfalls are versatile and usable in cw. As are Cyclones. I see both of these in cw. Now, if you can craft them and want to dedicate hours upon hours of practice with the Waltzes, maybe you'll be that guy. There's always that one guy with a weapon and build just killing it.

@electrotatar7357 It sounds like the Waltzes are what you really want to use in cw. I don't think they'll be the same as Crickets, then or now, but I've seen players do well with weapons you wouldn't expect. So I'll look for your name to pop up sooner or later as the Waltz guy. Best of luck!

Actually, I tried one match today for the first time. But I think you just need a build that you are good at controlling. Shortcuts can be tricky. And aim for the Ravager eyes. That stuns them and allows you immobilize or kill. I was using Imps but I saw a couple guys with auto cannons on small, fast builds and they were doing well. They had the auto cannons mounted on top so they had 360° shooting. I also saw a 3 Gravastar build that killed fast.

I imagine on PC, you have more players? That's my best guess. It's the ELO ranking so if you have more players participating then you would have better matchmaking based on your current ranking? I'm totally guessing, though.

@@rock_and_ink well on pc atm we have 116 clans above 199 rating. curious how many there are on consoles. the total clans here have dropped a lot from the early days of cw sadly

I had to log on to check for PSN: 98 clans above 199. Not too far off. Maybe just more active players during war time slots. The other factor is that console has cross play. The points exchange after matches when we (PSN) finish against Xbox is sometimes surprising. Consoles have two different leaderboards so I have no idea how the ELO ranking works with separate leaderboards playing against each other...

True. I'm just making fun of myself in the title. I drove very poorly and made poor decisions. I'm trying to do better, though.

the reason that levi works well btw is that it has good shooting angles and the guns don't interfere with each other when they rotate. it also has its biggest wheels (the bigfoots) clustered near the center of mass so it moves and turns well (tightly compated wheels around center of mass = turns better. u can check where ur center of mass is by turning "show center of mass" on in ur settings and going into test drive). when u make a levi, u basically want it to move like a spinning top with the bigfoots as the "point" of the spinning top near the middle with the other smaller support wheels (eg claws, sabbaths, buggies, hermits, titans, etc, whatever u like to use) on the outsides. anyway i might make videos again on my channel and talk about this stuff since it seems like half the game is trying to copy my builds.

@@HomeroadieCrossout Also, you should make and talk about builds. I may be completely wrong here but maybe make the videos about specific lower power scores. Maybe around CC builds and even lower PS for new players so that the new players don't just quit out of frustration... There are some videos for new players out there (I don't know if they're relevant at this time) and they're just unwatchable for one reason or another that I won't mention here.
