Everyday the variables change, so it's hard to tell for certain. I believe this time of year, they're chasing the presentation shape, size, more than the specific color for the most part. When the waters are really muddy, I like bright color choices for flashers or anything that might make sounds to gain the attention of the bass, especially with moving baits. It's all about experimenting and modifying on the fly. Have a magnificent week and thanks for hanging out!

What's good? Appreciate you coming through.... Yes sir, I'm crazy about fishing all of the above! Salado has plenty of solid fish, many areas of the creek. Riverwalk is one of my favorites to fish, no matter what area to be honest. I love micro and BFS fishing myself, just bought a bunch of new tackle to start targeting late fall and winter creek fishing. Some of my favorite times of year for this type of fishing. Yes sir, those are pretty solid baits as well. It’s tough to beat the action on Gary Yammamoto baits, they don’t last, but man they get the bites. Thanks for hanging out, have a magnificent week!

@ yeah I would use the bps senkos for practice and my yammamoto ones only for kayak tournaments

@ smart man! I put thick soft plastics with tiny hooks when I pre fish for tournament fishing. They can’t get the hook, as it’s buried deep, that way I can have a better chance of them eating on tournament day.

Yes sir, Salado Creek is great fishing inside and outside of Fort Sam for certain. I have fished those areas along Galm in the past, it's been a minute, as traffic in that area is nuts it seems all the time. Appreciate you hanging out, have a blessed evening and an even better week!
