You'll want to talk to the lady above the boss room, retrieve the Lord Vessel and from there you can take that to Frampt. You'll then have a few options of where to go. Just google the areas that unlock after giving Frampt the Lord Vessel and see what you feel up to doing next. (The Lord Vessel will also unlock fast travel). That should get your run moving smoothly again.

I'm right there with you, was a pretty decent showcase all things considered.

I can certainly agree with you there. Really hope in the end it turns out well. Cautiously optimistic but excited for it's release. Not long to wait now. :D Plus there's the other silent hill projects to be excited for in the future such as that one from Annapurna (Although not sure what's happening with that one with what happened at their studio recently) and Silent Hill F, the new mainline title.

I'm thinking at the moment, I'll get the Dead Rising Streams done and do Silent Hill content on stream. The Vods will always be there and if I do remove them it'll only be to move them to the VOD channel then for traditional let's play content maybe lean towards Crash 1 or Spyro 2 (Maybe just Spyro, get the whole franchise done?) for now but I really do want to get into Prince of Persia sometime soon. I feel like I play it at least once every 2 years. Just love that franchise so much and would love to take people through on the journey with me. Don't worry about the minecart thing, you're maybe mixing it up with the trolly section in one of the later games. Thanks for watching. There’s definitely some personal gripes for sure but thankfully a lot of issues are semantics and surface level at this point of the game and I’m definitely prepared to give Bloober benefit of the doubt and hope when we get to playing it’ll be great. I hadn't yet watched the new Story trailer when adding a spoiler warning, I just did that on the fly before jumping into the trailer as more of a courtesy just in-case and although there were no hard spoilers, honestly if I'd never played the game before and watched this trailer before playing, I wouldn't be too happy that they had me questioning Maria / Mary from the get go rather than growing to question her while playing. I'd still consider that a little bit of a spoiler even if it has no real impact on a first time player. I haven't watched the original trailer from 2001 for a long long time (hell I didn't get to play the game for the first time until 2005-2006 and didn't get round to beating the game until the janky PS3 and 360 remasters released) so can't remember what it was like compared to this trailer. If it's the same pretty much then fair enough but for reference when I compared things here to "The original" I was more so talking about the initial reveal trailers for the remake rather than the actual original game from 2001. I wanted this video to be longer and to go a bit more in-depth but had to cut a lot so it didn't turn out the best but so far it's been the best performing video on my channel by a long shot so hopefully I can make up for mistakes and discrepancies in the future with a better vid. I appreciate you watching.

People were definitely quick to judge including myself but this is also just a general problem with gamers and their expectations from games without understanding anything to do with game development itself and holding their childhood / nostalgic view to a higher standard than it needs to be than a specific subset of the gaming community. With that said however we had no reason to trust Bloober solely based on their previous titles and when that first teaser trailer dropped it was frankly disappointing and very bloober eske which brought up a lot of concerns. With this new trailer many of those concerns were rightfully addressed and did show huge improvement from the combat feeling slightly better (while not perfect), James' character model, animations, the atmosphere, Angela (although you can barely see her in this trailer) all look far improved from it's initial reveal. Remakes are there to replace an original for a modern audience, that's true but will never replace a game in it's entirety, there will never be anything stopping anyone playing the originals, be it through an emulator, original console or through a remake failing and so basic remasters being dropped at a later date. We'll always have the originals to go back to if a remake fails and that's one of the great things about gaming, we can always play the version we enjoy best. Just gotta hope when this game comes out it's what we've wanted. I really appreciate you watching, while this may be far from a perfect vid, it's been my highest performing and I hope to get better slowly over time.

@@LianaPlays The part about Bloober I totally understand the concerns, but this remake is probably their first ambitious game and you can feel it hence why it's important to give them a chance. And about remakes replacing originals I did say they are NOT meant to replace, I can take the Resident Evil 2 Remake as an example, I think it's a really good game but clearly not doing the original justice because of how different it is, basically a new game inspired by the original game. But that's ok, the original still exists and the remake brought a "fresh" reimagination. I like to believe Silent Hill 2 is gonna get the same treatment but will definitely be closer to the original. No worries, those chit chat videos are always a nice way to debate!

Yeah, 100%, can definitely agree there and hopefully, this all works out well for them in the end. Oh.. my bad. I missed the 'not' when reading your comment. xD Yeah, you're completely right there, they're their own thing and mainly for a different audience while trying to be faithful enough for fans to enjoy and for the most part, Resi Remakes did that well. I love both the remakes and originals just as much but for slightly different reasons. It's only 3 I had an issue with but if I'm honest it's just coz I really liked fighting that worm. At least we'll get a chance to fight a worm in Code Veronica when they get around to releasing that. :'D My personal opinion on this remake keeps flip-flopping so hard it was hard to have a concise and well-thought-out opinion in this video if I'm honest. At this point though I'm just excited to get my hands on the game and see for myself what I think of it rather than relying on trailers. It was a fun video to make though. Oh yeah for sure. I'm somewhat new to this whole dynamic but trying my best.

It did feel like they spoiled quite a bit in the Story Trailer. For those that have played the game before it's fine but for those that haven't it's a bit frustrating for them I'm sure.

@@LianaPlays are you sure? this game despite using unreal engine, its have outdated graphics. i am silent hill 2 fans, but i am not happy with this remake, they not replicate capcom resident evil remake with improvement in story and graphics, its just like duplicate. i am happy with the music though.

Truthfully I don't think anyone is entirely happy with it from the fact it's Bloober Team alone. They're an abysmal development team that can't write to save their lives and in-fact insult mental health and glorify abuse more than they help *Cough* The Medium... Their gameplay and art style is always dated at best and it'll always be absolutely beyond me why Konami allowed them to handle this project. (Unreal Engine is simply an engine, it's capable of a lot but it's up to the dev team, budget and management to make use of the engine's power, which they clearly haven't entirely.) It's far from being perfect but at this point, many have complained, many have sent serious abuse towards the studio and Konami (Which is never acceptable) and nothing we can do will change things all we can do is put up with that fact and the shortcomings that come from that and buy it if we want to and don't if we don't. Vote with your wallet. Unfortunately for us they didn't go the Ubisoft route of cancelling the entire game several times only to then pass it to a more skilled dev team like they happened to do with Prince of Persia. Even if they did take that route in the end we wouldn't see the game for years to come. At the absolute least we can give Bloober 'some' credit for listening to many of the complaints and making some serious improvements in terms of atmosphere, animations and character models. Plus the fact it doesn't look like they have touched the story is a good thing, they'd only ruin it if they tried to. In regards to my reference to Resident Evil Remakes, what I meant was by having an over the shoulder camera, the more action focused gameplay style with the changes to ranged and close combat mechanics, it's coming very close to emulating what Capcom did for Resident Evil, just worse. The music, well... you really can't go wrong with Akira Yamaoka's return. I won't be perfectly happy but if I can play the game turn my brain off to the issues and find some enjoyment in it, that's all that really matters, the original version ain't going anywhere and I can play it anytime I want.

Oh yeah it's the worst, like it's so vividly there in my memory and why I hate it as a level but every time I play it I completely forget the routes to take for those platforms. Wish I could just remember that information. xD I do remember Gnorks world does come after the next one though so we have that to look forward to and since it'd be a shorter video coz there's nothing to collect in the overworld, I might throw the skill point collecting into that vid. We'll see.

Ah yeah, you're right. The whole CrossBuy thing. I forgot Microsoft did that promotion. I remember getting ReCore, Sunset Overdrive and I think Gears of War Ultimate Edition on PC when I bought them on the Xbox at the time. I would much prefer it if Gears of War Ultimate and that 2, 3 & 4 were on Steam though. Maybe some day. Especially with Tactics, 5 and E-Day being on Steam.
