Hooray! I’ve spent too many months trying to sort out the timing on this superb number. Then, I saw this video and also read some of the comments. This alerted me to JM’s video on timing and rhythm which was obviously published ages ago but I’d missed it. So, on the same wonderful day I saw this video and the accompanying musical stave and heard the definitive comments from John McLaughlin himself. At last, I understand it all and can play it too. Thanks to everyone on this channel and O.dadic particularly. Excellent
