My 2 pair fit true to size. The same as my other Vertx pants. If you try them let me know how you like them.

They are pretty straight from the knee down. With the pants laying flat I measure 7.5 wide at the hem.

Yeah I would have loved to have tried those. I'm still pretty impressed with these. They are my favorited so far

That is absolutely right. I couldn't imagine goimgnback to "regular" pants

It really is handy. Lightweight and takes up hardly any room. I don't regret getting them for out bags.

OK. I haven't tried those in particular but I have the ccw jeans and another pair of their pants. They seem very good quality. Maybe a tad over priced for me. But I dontnhabe any complaints other than that

Ag far as recommendations. If you don't mind telling me a bit more. Like style of pants ( blue jeans I assume) , purpose ( everyday wear or like range day pants ) fit, what you normally carry, do you ccw, where do you carry. What's important to you in pants. Things like that and I will see if I have any experience with any pants that will work for you.

Thats another whole point. But I would say, How many Ukrainians in that list would much rather have had ( and would trade every bug out bag in the world for) a safe bug out location to go to?

@@everydayprepared9561 Sometimes you've just got to get off the X. Having essential gear is going to make the situation suck much less. I'd rater be alive and be a refugee than risk death by staying.

@@surviveanything4765 Of course. And nowhere in there did I say to stay put no matter what. For me (and for the post I was referring to) it would take a lot for me to abandon my home where 90% of my preps are. And considering my videos are geared to beginners, obsessing over a bug out bag isn't practical (at least not in the beginning). And i guess a whole other topic would be what is considered "Essential gear" But that is too broad of a subject and has too many possibilities for short conversations like this.

@@everydayprepared9561 I agree. We would have to be in danger of death or injury for me to bug out. I take a different approach. I tell people just getting into preparedness to start with a bug out bag. Doing this ensures they have in the very least, shelter, water, fire, food, first aid that is contained in a bag in one location. This will get them through most emergency situations. If the need to leave comes up, then they have the essential gear to take with them as well. Once you have this, then start to build up your pantry and water stores etc...

Solid plan. that's kind of the same approach I take with the get home bags ( but honestly my Get home is my bug out bag) My only worry about that is for people that are on an extreme budget, and the fact that every 6 months or so the prepper community goes absolutely crazy on bug out bags, and it's hard for new people to figure out what's needed and what's not.

Thanks Mike. These are the Shockcord. I can think of only 2 things I would change about these pants. 1 would be how they name the colors. I have messed up and ordered shockcord 3 times because it and sand cookie look so similar on the web page. The other would be the side pockets. Make them a little wider like in the cutback shorts. But even without those pockets still my favorite pants
