I wish I could tell where the S. State Park is, because I've spent a good portion of my youth camping there & meeting young ladies. (Having fun around the clear, brisk waters of Higgins Lake.

Thank you so much for making this public......Can't wait to share it with my sister who now lives in Northern California. I know she will appreciate it! Our family bought the second lot in from the island on Old Pointe Comfort in the late 1940's. We outgrew our cottage in the 1960's and moved to the area near the Gold Coast. Our grandchildren are fourth generation Higgins Lake kiddos....loving every minute of our times together!

That's hallowed ground and holy water for sure. I spent countless days, weeks, months and years around, on and IN Higgins Lake. I can't express how much I miss the place.

You seem to be an Islander. I did manage to fly on april 7 with less thermal activity what an Awesome View of the world. Keep an eye out for me sitting on a lawn chair with a motor flying a kite with the same wing span as yours orange and white.

I vidioed the ice in that window before snow from a kite skiing perspective and from the air from my powered para glider. Twas Awesome. u-tube username parairchairbill tis my favorite view of the world.
