Here's the history of the Park, On November 2, 1778, a small group of Delaware Indians entered the Slocum home and carried away Frances, who was five years old. The first night after her abduction was spent in a crude shelter under a rock ledge along Abraham Creek, believed to be within the state park boundary. One day i will be taking a walk on the trail, and i will show a video of the shelter they speak.

Yea, and I do garden as well, I posted videos of my garden, but we got our first frost a few weeks ago, so my gardening outside season is over for this year.

I am pretty sure those are peoples boats that store them there, but they do have kayaks canoes, paddleboards, row boats, and pedal boats to rent on the other side of the lake.

basically i post anything related to the Pennsylvania outdoors thats the name of the channel, its has nature,plants,wildlife etc. everything Pennsylvania, if someone commented a problem or something, I'd be happy to help them though.

Yea, this trail started in 2019, so it wasn't here to long, its near Geisinger on Mt.Cleary Drive, its really nice there and has a nice pond where ducks and heron's hang out sometimes, and loads of deer too. Thanks for your comment. Have a wonderful Night.

@@PennsylvaniaOutdoors-ki8tm I want to say this was a wonderful experience for us and our young family (except for the massive snowmageddon that first winter). Such kind and nice people, including our kids great friends and their families. I love small towns and Dallas was one of the good ones😉

@@marypettitt9150 absolutely, it’s on a trail in the woods, but there is a bench there facing the water and it’s one of the most relaxing places ever, just listening to nature and seeing wildlife.

yes, someone spray painted on the sidewalk with a arrow pointing to it, so no one will get stung by it, I guess there keeping it there because they don't want to kill the bees, which i am happy with.

Yea, I know they put a lot of work into this Trail, it use to be a Amusement Park back in the 30's, in my other videos you can see the water area that use to be the pool which the ducks and heron's have claimed now and I believe after that the train ran through the area for a period of time, but its probably one of the nicest Trails in my area to see wildlife and i love it there.
