That was a high-school performance?! Damn

Damn that’s an amazing performance

Just to let everyone know that I went to this high school. I worked on this musical and the guy playing Seymour was a freshman at the time.

Anyone watching this for reference on current performance, one thing is at the end, ideally you’re not facing out like they are. Looks awkward and too much like you’re performing for an audience. Final moments, turn and face each other, hands clasped singing then kiss. Don’t stop kiss like they did until interrupted by “so”. Looks very strange to linger there not locked in kiss when store owner comes in. And whatever you do - always kiss on this song! That’s part of the comedy and the Seymour’s critical transition in character. Some performances do an awkward hug or something. These kids were awesome in they went for it. It can be uncomfortable and awkward but you need it.

Little Shop of Horrors is one off my favorite musicals but I honestly don’t think that the roles of Crystal, Chiffon and Ronnette are for white girls no shade y’all did good too but there were some parts that were alittle pitchy that would made my music directors turn over in their graves 😭

Very nice performance! I have yet to hear a HS production take this arrangement up to tempo but this was close. Kids, ignore your vocal coaches. Real performing comes from the soul. When using lavaliere mics, you can relax the diction. But great talent and nice set!!

The power in the Skid Row choir was overwhelming; the angst and regret and overall hatred of life really moved through the air, and I mean that as a compliment!

That's amazing! I loved the way they subtly indicated that the shop was dangerous even then: they pointed over the fence as they warned people, the fence had BEWARE and KEEP OUT hidden underneath some of the posters. They went from sassy street urchins to stoic Greek chorus on the last No! No! No! No! I loved it!

He keeps holding onto that broom till the end, it looks like hes gonna finish with an elpheba Defying Gravity pose, broom in the air. Great production, though, despite seymour not taking flight in a black cape

I know I've already commented two times already, but I must say that this was beyond all doubt one the best productions I've seen. The cast was fantastic, the music extraordinary, and all around amazing!

When they were kissing, whoever was filming said, "There's your baby" hahaha xD

Talented. Absolutely talented. This isn't normally an easy song to do and she stuck to it. Even kept the accent flowing with the song

Never mind. It was extaordinary.

If only you guys had that harmony that you had on the final Don't Feed the Plants as in the rest of the song, but definitely one of the best closers (Set wise).

Yay Chicago is next year. Can't wait!!!!!
