Chapter 17: Friends on the West Coast
In this chapter we head up the west coast through Oregon and into Washington. Our stops along the way include visiting with 2 very important families from our recent past that have moved out to Oregon. As we make our way up we make detours along the highway to visit Rainier. Olympic, Cascade & Mt. Baker, and Lewis & Clark National Parks, as well as a visit to Mount Hood and Mount St. Helens. By the time we reach the Seattle we are surprised to learn that the Corona virus has changed our current and future plans as we had into Canada to complete our 4 year journey.

In this chapter we keep heading west towards the pacific coast. Our path is a bit odd as it centres around hitting 9 national parks (White Sands, Petrified Forest, Saguaro, Grand Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon & Zion) and some key sights along the way. We watched the Super Bowl in a Pizza Hut in Utah then headed into Las Vegas, where our video wraps up. Next it's onto C...

This would be a time for us to rest for a couple of months before continuing east on the last big leg of our family adventure. There was much we wanted to do in Texas while making our way to our friends including visiting the Alamo, taking in the Formula One grand prix and exploring Waco and the Magnolia...

Ontario to Newfoundland via Labrador Hwy - 2015
Переглядів 1905 років тому
Back in the summer of 2015 my friend Doug and I took a motorcycle trip to Newfoundland via one of the last great I paved highways in North America: the Labrador Highway. From Quebec to the coast of Labrador, you experienced 800 clicks of various unpaved surfaces that had us white-knuckling at times. A great 3 weeks to spend on two wheels clocking almost 9000 kilometres. There was much prep and ...
Chapter 11: A Rocky Restart
Переглядів 605 років тому
It’s been about a month since we got back on the road after a couple years away. The transition wasn’t easy and the excitement died off quickly. Over these few weeks we learned to grasp what future may look like and adapt to the everyday challenges we are facing. Our expectations look very different and there are days we think about stopping, or at least one of us does. Advice and prayers from ...

Everest Base Camp 2019

My friend Doug and I did the Everest Base Camp trek with Himalayan Leisure company on May 2-20, 2019. We documented what we thought were the best views along the way, as well as chronicling sightings of the Everest range as you went along the route from Lukla all the way to Base Camp. We flew from Toronto in the middle of the night, spent a 14 hour layover in Hong Kong, each way, and had 2 days...
Our Trailer Mods - LONG VERSION!

Sorry for the length of this video. Its super long! We were just going through all the things we changed and modified, plus the things we found helpful and it amounted to a video just under an hour. We start outside then we go through the different areas inside. You can scroll to a part of interest or sit through the whole thing if you think you'll find a gem in the detail. Before we started tr...

I came across a bunch of footage from the days when I owned a side-by-side UTV/ATV. I put it all together here as a tribute to some good memories of evenings and weekends out in the Ganaraska forest and the Bobcaygeon trails in Ontario. The last section is shot by my friend Jeremy on his phone so please pardon the quality at the time. Also in these videos you can see the two different graphics ...
Chapter 9: 90 Days on the Big Island of Hawaii

In this chapter we leave Maui and head to the big island of Hawaii for 3 months. This will be the last of the 4 island we visit and our longest stay by far. Our time here over the next 90 days was spent blending into the Hawaii lifestyle and community around us. We met many great people and experienced what it would be like to live here more than vacations worth. Although no large revelations w...

Incrível parabens. Grande abraço Brasil
accurate and concise. best jurassic park location video thanks
I enjoyed your video, you put some good work in with those camera angles!! Thank you for sharing!! I have just put together a location series that I shot in Kauai at the Jurassic Park filming locations. I took my 30 year old JP cinema ticket along with some original 35 mm cuttings from the film. In this video you can see exactly where the gates were located: (02:45) ua-cam.com/video/CWXczLGLsWw/v-deo.htmlsi=9AjdJ8v1Vhn9A2ix either way you were there, in the heart of Jurassic Park... just thought you might be interested :)
I am crying 😢❤
Great video I live on Kauai. Amazing job
I believe the standing poles were not actually where the gate was located. It was actually a few hundred feet further ahead of the standing poles on that road.
One day would love to have my wife's 2013 Jeep JK 2 Doors Sport S converted to JP29 (black jeep with red stripes) and my 2020 Jeep JL 2 door Sport Mojito with black stripes Converted to an alter ego, JW29 (my wife's is the Clever Girl Edition and mine is Barbasol Karma Edition) we would love to ship our Jeeps to Hawaii and tail each other going down the trails of the movie! One day 😎😍🤯
Lol I could care less about the newer movie locations the original is the best. Really is a movie that makes you feel good and takes you back. I was in 8th grade when the movie came out and Ive watched it more times than years I've lived and I'm 43. Awesome movie
I agree The original was the best but the first 3 I loved as a kid I think they were great.

Awsome! Question, how did you customise the intro text?
So cool that there's demarcation poles for the front gate. Who put those there?
This makes me go and watch Jurassic Park AGAIN!
Ahora entiendo de dónde salieron esos paisajes
That's incredible.
"Welcome to Jurassic Park" God I need to go here so badly
goin on April 2025 :)
diddnt know they shoot almost every movie of the franchise here
the best place to make movies like this is La Reunion Island
You know they should actually make a amusement park there with animatronic dinosaurs just like universal studios dinosaurs

lol it seems as a joke in front of Everest
Its cause they are made differently. Mauna Kea is a volcano and Everest was made by tectonic smashup between the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates.
This is amazing thank you so much for this I have been a Jurassic Park fan since my 10th birthday
Holy shit I need to go to Hawaii.
Unusual peak
