Since our inception in 2007, humangear has been hard at work in San Francisco, California, designing simple products that turn ordinary moments into extraordinary ones. What is humangear Bio?
The GoBites Bio material is sustainably harvested from crops that don’t trade off with local food supplies and are irrigated via natural monsoons, lessening the need for water-intensive irrigation. But, its most innovative feature is its performance. Unlike other plant-based plastics that are either overly flexible or overly brittle, the GoBites Bio material is a next-generation polymer that matches performance only previously seen in petroleum-based composites. Love these! The large size are great for holding multiple Apple Watch bands!
I had a light my fire plastic spork. It broke as it was too flimsy. The humangear one in this video I just bought would survive being run over by a truck it is so well built.
I have the small version of these, and I tested several containers to check for watertightness on a hike, and these held up the best, bar none!

It is 1 of the better sporks, very sturdy. I prefer the spoon size of the LMF version, but as a complete spork the humangear is better. Good design & construction.

Novel idea, it would be interesting to know how many open and close cycles they will last.
I'm curious why they bothered with the hinge. That's definitely going to be the weak point and only serves to make sure that the two halves don't get separated.
@@SmallSpoonBrigadethe hinge is a post-in-socket joint. There is nothing to wear so it will last thousands and thousands of cycles. Backed by a lifetime warranty as well. Cheers!

No, the spoon is NOT deep enough for soup, it is more like an angled spatula, and very small.

I bought a few "duo" last week to replace my aging camping/hiking kit (its aging quite fast since I use them a lot). I went out of my way to comment about em. You guys made an awesome product. I dont like titanium ustensils (the feeling is horrible) and I dont like the "foldable" mechanisms. Your Duo is the best I ever used. I appreciate the details you paid attention to. You guys are a smart compagny with smart and competent people. Excellent product.
